@4refr0nt Thank you very much. One last question even if it is not related to the ESplorer. I want to connect the VS1053 mp3 decoder chip to the ESP8266. Where do I find the drivers for ESP8266 and how do I know how to connect them? Thank you so much for your help.
@liquiddandruff I also like it but you'll like it a lot less if you start digging into the source code. ESPlorer is essentially a single Java file with >10k lines of spaghetti code. A monster ready to bite you in the ass as soon as you try to tinker with it. I once considered fixing a few things but that first look deterred me from taking a second. Just glad it kinda works fine.
Hello all, Over the last few weeks I have been adding new functionality to ESPlorer to make it work better with MicroPython boards. I plan to submit these as a PR to the main repo, in order to facilitate testing infrequent I'll host a beta release on my fork as well. I was inspired by a friend to look into fixing and extending the MicroPython functions offered in ESPlorer. The main reason for doing so is that for new learners a GUI may be simpler to use than remembering the different text based syntaxes and idioms, and that I frequently found myself switching between 2 or 3 tools to accomplish simple tasks. Personally I prefer to have the choice between a text based and a GUI based IDE , so I can pick what works best for me, for a specific project. Source:
