    Hello @MukulCode @designkenal should we build a prototype application using the tech stack we are using, to be considered for GSoC, or is it just a plus point? If i’m not mistaken, I believe everyone was designing UI mockups, but not actually coding them. And if we were to code a prototype, should it be focused on AR or just to demonstrate our ability to work in the language(s) we selected?

    I also have the same doubt, thanks for posting @yasithmilinda , @MukulCode Please inform us so that we will start to build the app if we have to.

    @yasithmilinda, building a prototype is important. This will show that you are capable of coding the designs that you have presented and this will also give us a clear idea about what you are thinking. Talking about tech stack, you are free to choose anything from what we have described in the GSoC task under issues of project.
    If you are thinking that everyone is just designing the mockups then you are wrong. I have seen really good prototypes in the proposals.
    Your last question was related to AR. It totally depends on you. If you are able to demonstrate in this short time period then it is great.

    @MukulCode can we use google's opensource AR models as if now as we don't have time to render each monument's AR model individually?

    @yasithmilinda
    @MukulCode that’s good to know!

    Hello @MukulCode @designkenal I referenced my current implementation in my proposal, with a GIF recording. It contains a few screens that I proposed. I'm yet to create the Android app, but greatly appreciate if you and @designkenal can take a look at it and provide some feedback on it.

    Hello everyone,
    I have reviewed all the applications present on GSoC website related to Monumento. Please mention your name here if you haven't received reviews.
    Also @designkenal and other members are also reviewing your applications and I believe there suggestions would be really helpful for your proposals

    Hello, I was trying to create an IPA for the iOS that I made, but realized that since I don’t have an apple developer account (which costs $99), I cannot export an IPA file nor upload it into testflight. Any advise on how I should share an executable for the iOS app is appreciated!
    Pulkit Midha
    @midopooler
    Ahh, Apple is being so cruel with its policies. You just can't share the IPA without that paid account. However what you can do is to transfer the whole XCode project and then build it to the iPhone you want to test in.
    Also, if you want, developer account is free for first 7 days.

    If u are a Apple developer its worth-it to buy Apple developers program

    the educational purpose should be free.

    when i am exploring flutter, i saw inorder to run apps in ios devices i need an apple dev program.

    just hate them for doing these things without a reason.

    they are afraid that people will find different better ways other than swift UI.

    @jddeep
    Well Codemagic.io provides some good alternatives to build both apk and iOS apps online, without any external support. But if you want to publish you'll need dev accounts on both platforms.
    But the source code need to be either on Gitlab/Github/BitBucket

    @jddeep code magic provides only 500 minutes right ?

    @prudhvir3ddy yes per month

    @jddeep

    @jddeep code magic provides only 500 minutes right ?

    Well, yes if you are becoming a user/member right now. But those who were members right from when Codemagic started its services, we get benefits of limitless builds as of now. We have a slack group and mailing list as well.

    There have been talks that they might curtail the free benefits to some extent. But nothing confirmed.
