    Auth.federatedSignIn(...) call fails with following exception: "SyntaxError: Unexpected token o in JSON at position 1 at JSON.parse (<anonymous>)."
    What could be the cause?
    I am fairly new to programming and AWS serverless apps in general. I am following this tutorial and now trying to query all rows from my dynamo DB table, does anyone have any recommendation on how to do that?
    Anyone here knows how to remove the "sign in aws" button in aws amplify?

    [Announcement - New Home For Our Community] Hi everyone - I'm Matt and I recently joined the Amplify team at AWS in an open source community role. Today, I’m excited to announce we are going to move this community to Discord, which is a chat & video platform for communities like ours. It will allow us additional benefits like multiple channels and roles types, as well as teams like moderators and Amplify staff members. We are still getting started but wanted to invite this community over first to help us shape the future of our new chat platform. To learn a bit more and provide feedback, I’ve opened this issue: aws-amplify/amplify-js#5716. If you’d like to hop into Discord, please use this link ->

    So I'm stuck on a problem. I'm using ElasticSearch via @searchable on a @model. this model has an array of objects connected to it. Here's a toy version:

    type Person @model @searchable {
        id: ID
        cities: [Location!]!
    type Location {
        city: String
        state: String

    Does anyone know how to search (using searchPersons) and filter Persons by whether they match a string value for city or state in any of the cities? This seems like a common situation, but I cannot find anyone actually doing this. My current direction is maybe Nested types in ElasticSearch, but I'm not sure how that plays into graphql schema / the filter that passes through AppSync

    is there a way of doing case insensitive searches working with the GraphQL api / DataStore query

    In AWS::Amplify::App Why can't select CloudPipeline connection Arn instead of directly providing access token? in bitbucket cloud they don't provide personal access token!
    AWS Console -> Developer Tools -> Settings -> Connections
    Is this the official Amplify room?
    It will be awesome if you provide such option in cloudformation, and you may support bitbucket app password feature

    I am facing 2 issues, 1. Storage.put throws a Uncaught (in promise) No plugin found in Storage for the provider on my local machine 2. when I publish the same to aws, I get a r[a].trim is not a function, the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden) Would the community have an input on what could be wrong? I am using "@aws-amplify/storage": "^3.1.9", "@aws-amplify/ui-vue": "^0.2.5", "aws-amplify": "^3.0.11". I had previously updated to the latest versions of the above libraries but I faced the same issues.

    I am getting an error(different errors) uploading a user's private file to storage on both my local machine and after publishing to AWS. Can the community take a look at my issue in github and advise? aws-amplify/amplify-js#6225

    Hi there I'm a newbie here I need help in refreshing token from cognito userpool I had used Auth.currentSession() and Auth.currentAuthenticatedUser() but both methods didn't work after tokens get expired " as mentioned in docs thta auth.currentSession will refresh the tokens if they are expired " but I'm getting an error of " No current user " " No authenticated user ", Remember I hadn't used fedrated identities. Your little guidnace is too much appreciated

    I recently started Amplify.
    I have a question about Pagination.
    I understand Pagination using nextToken, but I don't know how to do paging like limit-offset that uses page numbers.
    How can I limit-offset pagination?

    Hi Guys, hope you are having a great day.
    I wanted to know about how can I set AWSConfiguration for AWSMobileClient in Android. Is there any way to do that, cause I fell like awsconfiguration.json is not a safe way to go from security point of view.

    Hi, I am experiencing issues. On my local vue site using aws amplify get's built fine
    When I build it over to production I get Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'install' of undefined on Vue.use(Amplify, Auth);

    Is there a way to configure amplify to use SES for cognito emails?
    I'm trying to do auth on react web using the withAuthenticator HOC and I'm running into a problem that seems similar to aws-amplify/amplify-js#3642 . I've got my user pool set up with a custom OIDC federated identity provider. I added oauth properties to my configuration in my code. The redirects and hosted UI all work fine, but when it redirects back to my application with the code I can see it successfully calls the cognito /token endpoint once, then it tries to call it again immediately after without the code_verifier and fails. Anyone run into this problem or have successfully implemented auth on amplify react web with User Pools and OIDC provider?
    Hello Guys,
    I am getting this error when installing amplify.

    Hi Guys. I have been trying to use the datastore capabilities with an ionic project. Everything looks good, but it seems the local storage is not syncing with the dynamodb tables... I have updated the API and set the automerge, but again no data sync? what could be the problem? Do you have any clues for additional troubleshooting? Thank you in advance

    Hey Alex! Did you connect a custom domain to the app in the amplify console? I am facing a similar issue too.
    After calling Auth.signOut() the page reload to the home of my app. On dev it s fine but on prod with HTTPS it reload to the HTTP version of the app. i don't understant where does it come from

    hi everyone. I wonder if anyone had experienced an issue where modifying auth sign in/out URLs for one environment actually changes it for another environment as well?
    I wonder if this has to do with how the environments were created?
    I've used amplify init
    Aleksei Trofimichine
    looks like I figured out what the issue was
    it's to do with committing any changes made via CLI to the git branch it's meant to be used for
    but this does create another issue with using multi-env setup. every time you try to merge changes from another branch it's going to result in a merge conflict 🤦‍♂️

    I would like to leverage @aws-amplify/ui-react for federated authentication
    but I am confused as to why I need to put in a ```
    const federated = {
      amazonClientId: "your_amazon_client_id",
      facebookAppId: "your_facebook_app_id",
      googleClientId: "your_google_client_id",
      oauthConfig: {
        redirectSignIn: "http://localhost:1234/",
        redirectSignOut: "http://localhost:1234/",
    whereas I already configured all those details when doing amplify add auth
