I suspect that it is Helm version related. I have 2.12.2. I will try with 2.14.3
Igor Dianov
@igdianov
@adamgmills_twitter I confirm that Helm 2.14.3 is not working correctly.
You need to downgrade Helm to 2.12.2 in order to install activiti-cloud-full-example
adam
@adamgmills_twitter
wow, I never would've suspected!!
Thank you so much for your help. I'm trying helm 2.12.2 now
Igor Dianov
@igdianov
Yes, unfortunately, new Helm version has a regression. Thanks for your help to identify the problem.
We will have to find a fix for it.
Igor Dianov
@igdianov
Let me know if it works for you.
adam
@adamgmills_twitter

ok, so downgrading worked for installation, but now i'm on my next issue.
I installed the nginx ingress controller like so:
helm install stable/nginx-ingress --version 1.1.2
i did a kubectl get svc to get the external ip of the load balancer,
i set it as an alias for my domain in route53 (*.reconvelocity.org)

when I try to access http://gateway.default.reconvelocity.org/modeling, I get a Whitelabel error page, 404

Igor Dianov
@igdianov
Did you setup wildcard DNS for reconvelocity.org domain record in Route 53?
adam
@adamgmills_twitter
yes *.reconvelocity.org is an A record with alias to the loadbalancer created by nginx ingress
I did that after installing activiti, does order matter?
Igor Dianov
@igdianov
It sounds right and it doesn't matter. The nginx version is too old. You will need minimum 1.3.0 or later...
You need to delete your nginx-ingress and install latest nginx-ingress in kube-system namespace
helm install stable/nginx-ingress --namespace kube-system --set rbac.create=true
adam
@adamgmills_twitter
thanks I'll try that now
Igor Dianov
@igdianov
After that check that nginx-controller gets IP address with kubectl get svc -n kube-system
adam
@adamgmills_twitter
cool. I installed activiti in default namespace, not kube-system, does that matter?
Igor Dianov
@igdianov
It does not matter where you install Activiti.
adam
@adamgmills_twitter
it worked!!! I can access Alfresco now!
Igor Dianov
@igdianov
Super!

@adamgmills_twitter
Igor, I'm drinking in your honor tonight

@igdianov
Thanks! It took a while, but I am glad to help you out.
Cheers!

Hello, I have deployed my activiti application on Github using JenkinsX CI/CD Pipeline. Everything has been deployed sucessfully however I cannot access the keycloak login. Here is the link: http://identity.staging.34.83.99.31.nip.io/auth/admin/master/console . The guide says the password is admin admin but for some reason it wont work at all. the guide I used was from the activiti developers guide: https://activiti.gitbook.io/activiti-7-developers-guide/getting-started/getting-started-activiti-cloud/getting-started-activiti-cloud-jx/google-cloud-gke-jx
If someone could please help me I would be really grateful I have been stuck on this issue for a while now

@jimxie
Can I use Activiti designer or Activiti editor for commercial product?
Igor Dianov
@igdianov
@saahilbhutwala Looks like something is wrong with Keycloak realm configuration. I can try to help troubleshooting . Can you try to restart Keycloak pod with kubectl delete pod example-keycloak-0 -n staging?
BTW, the realm appears to be configured, but the admin access is not.
After that, open http://identity.staging.34.83.99.31.nip.io/auth/ and check you have link to Admin Console access.

Hi all, is there a more up to date verison of the activiti 7 roadmap? the one on github has not been updated since may https://github.com/Activiti/Activiti/wiki/Activiti-7-Roadmap
This blog post from June implied that a road map update would be coming soon but it is almost 2 months old now https://community.alfresco.com/community/bpm/blog/2019/06/21/activiti-updates-just-in-time-for-summer

@slamkalukas I have created a PR with example unit test for Activiti7 process: Activiti/example-runtime-bundle#315. Let me know if you have any questions
@saahilbhutwala When you have to get back to me, can you also check jx version for me?

@jkanjariya This is Activiti7 channel. It would be best to ask the question in Alfresco Community Forum: https://community.alfresco.com

@/all how could I design a form for user task in Activiti 7.
Rohit Nikhade
@rohit9637
Where can I store any document in Activiti 7 and what is the API/
angshugit
@angshugit
Where can I find java APIs for Activiti 7? Is there a way to deploy a BPMN file dynamically without creating a new service? Does a BPMN file have to be in the resources/processes directory?
Elias Ricken de Medeiros
@erdemedeiros
@rohit9637 currently it’s not possible to design forms in Activiti 7. You need to use an external form editor
@angshugit you can find examples on how use Java APIs here https://github.com/Activiti/activiti-examples
Elias Ricken de Medeiros
@erdemedeiros
@angshugit the default location is resources/processes, but you can change it by setting the property spring.activiti.process-definition-location-prefix to another folder, i.e. file:/foo/bar/processes/
SeRGiOJoKeR11
@sergiojoker11
I have found some broken links in the docs.
An issue was created for addressing those (Activiti/Activiti#2868) even though there could be more
Elias Ricken de Medeiros
@erdemedeiros
@sergiojoker11, thanks for reporting that. Actually, it’s a valid link, but it seems to wok only when you’re logged in on docker hub. Do you have a docker hub account to give it try?
probably there is another way to reference this image so that you don’t need to login
angshugit
@angshugit
@erdemedeiros Looking for javadoc, do you think activiti-examples have usage of all the APIs?
@erdemedeiros Does BPMN deployment requires rebuilding of service? It seems service code and BPMN definition are inter-twined. In that case, the time between BPMN development and BPMN deployment might be days because it requires development & testing of the service. Is there any ways to dynamically deploy BPMNs, without changing any code in the service runtime?
