Émile Fugulin
@Sytten
and then built it with the exisiting scripts (or new ones if necessary)
Nathan Graule
@SolarLiner
well, when you push to deploy, it automatically builds all packages
Émile Fugulin
@Sytten
yep but its using circle CI
and pushing the deb to aws
from what I understand
Nathan Graule
@SolarLiner
I'm sure we can add a routine that pushes the built 'intermediate' code that goes in ./build/linux
and then triggers a PPA rebuild
Émile Fugulin
@Sytten
Probably
would be kind of a hack, I will check how others do it
Nathan Graule
@SolarLiner
yeah
I'd like to know how webdup8 does it for Atom
Nathan Graule
@SolarLiner
Also
Working on the notification implementation, at one random point, trying to start the crashes in 'event.js:161' at line 'throw er;'
I've been fighting over it for the past few days, can't seem to find where that comes from
Nathan Graule
@SolarLiner
Now it does that with code straight out from Aluxian's repo
Nathan Graule
@SolarLiner
Wow
It finally works
I can reply to notifications
... Although they don't get sent yet
sidneys.github.io
@sidneys
@SolarLiner awesome work. can you do a gif?
Nathan Graule
@SolarLiner
Sure
Nathan Graule
@SolarLiner
Implementation might be shaky and shady though lol
I need to polish the code maybe a bit more, and make sure I understand the process perfectly
because I can't figure out why typeReply() doesn't fire
Nathan Graule
@SolarLiner
@sidneys

@sidneys
i
nice :smile: :clap:
beautiful desktop theme also
Nathan Graule
@SolarLiner
thanks
Reason #134 I love the GNOME desktop :P
but I changed the background to a dark theme because of the indicators not following the text color
Émile Fugulin
@Sytten
SOme nice improvement made by Aluxian in the last days
I will probably PR them in my fork
but the main focus is on getting CI up and running
Nathan Graule
@SolarLiner
I don't know if I'll ask for a PR now or if I try to get the replying to actually work before
also I need to bundle my libnotify-terminal with it
sidneys.github.io
@sidneys
@Sytten why does aluxian not engage in communication with us any more? 😑
@SolarLiner can you tell me your tray bar and launcher theme? I want that (have Ubuntu 1610 in my macos vm mostly for testing, got Ubuntu tweak tools installed, casual user)
Émile Fugulin
@Sytten
I talk a bit with him on facebook
sidneys.github.io
@sidneys
☺️️
did he give some info about the malware complaints
Émile Fugulin
@Sytten
nop, not sure whats really going on
sidneys.github.io
@sidneys
is he okay with the fork?
Émile Fugulin
@Sytten
he didnt commented on that
he said that he checked the gitter, but had to leave for a hackathon
sidneys.github.io
@sidneys
I know that he's aware of it, he said he couldn't do anything because the download portals (filehorse etc) have given him a deal and he can't influence what they piggyback onto the binaries...it's in this chats history
Émile Fugulin
@Sytten
Im also aware that he always wanted to monetize the app bause of the different costs
what I find strange is its seems like he still operates the website
since the builds on circle CI go to some AWS S3
