@mixflame
Isaac Sloan
@elorest
@VanyaNeytrino Did you run shards install
Budi
@iambudi
@mixflame Could you try to generate a new amber project and compare the content of appilcation.cr or routes.cr files with your current project?
If i'm not mistaken there's some difference with previous amber version used in my project.
Jonathan Silverman
@mixflame
@elorest sorry I got distracted, it's on gitlab
hosted
@iambudi yeah
the application.cr is definitely different in newer versions of amber
Isaac Sloan
@elorest
add me on gitlab.com then. I already have an account
Jonathan Silverman
@mixflame
I said the wrong thing. We have our own server @elorest
Jonathan Silverman
@mixflame
it looks like i should probably stick with 0.2.6
Jonathan Silverman
@mixflame
Actually had the problem still in 0.2.6
@elorest though I'm moving on for now, there shouldnt be any new post additions to my routes, so I/we can fix it over time if you want
Jonathan Silverman
@mixflame
ANyone around?
I wanted to ask your opinion on something @elorest if you're here
ylluminate
@ylluminate
has anyone worked on adding realtime support to amber a la volt or pakyow (or perhaps better, a fusion of the two)
Isaac Sloan
@elorest
I'm around
ylluminate
@ylluminate
any thoughts?
Isaac Sloan
@elorest
@ylluminate Not really. I'm guessing it's not a priority for now.
Budi
@iambudi
@elorest great. No configuration changes to existing project? Or do we have to generate a new amber project and compare 😀
Isaac Sloan
@elorest
Configuration should be the same. Settings.env has now been changed to Amber.env and is not configurable outside of setting ENV["AMBER_ENV"] before running.
Budi
@iambudi
Ok thanks

Is there anywhere I can read more about Amber’s CSRF implementation?
Ah, just found Amber::Pipe::CSRF.tag

@elorest
@mixflame We don’t use this git channel anymore.

@alex-lairan
This gitter @elorest ?
That’s the new gitter channel. This one has been abandoned.
I check back in now and then though.
Budi
@iambudi

I am using crystal-pg. How can I execute a stored procedure(function) which returns a custom Postgresql type. Here is my custom type
CREATE TYPE JWT_TOKEN AS
(
  user_id   UUID,
  name      TEXT,
  acc_type  SMALLINT,
  belong_to TEXT
);

there isn't one if I am not mistaken right? All validations are in the DB level right?

@coderhs
I just updated that issue with the information i got from reading the code, do comment on it.
I would like to send a PR updating the documentation for it, if my research is correct.
Also I found .count missing from the list of available methods, since .count is something that is commonly used, I feel adding that method would be useful. If the maintainers/community agree then I will send a PR for that.
as well.
Harisankar P S
@coderhs
Should mark this channel as abandoned.
any way to delete it?
Isaac Sloan
@elorest
Yeah I just stick around to direct people to right place.

@elorest can we add it to the desceription of the channel? https://www.dropbox.com/s/bzw03lu5mo53bbr/Screenshot%202017-10-30%2014.38.42.png?dl=0

Don’t think we’ve spent much time on that, but in general we’re really close to the base crystal implementation so it should be about the same.
Even our web requests/s are the same as kemal.
This is no longer the amber channel though.

why is that?
Isaac Sloan
@elorest
The error is because you need to run shards install
