    I’ve forked this repo and am planning to contribute some updates to snippets back upstream. Just wanted to give you a heads up and thank you for your help so far…
    The main snippets I am going to be working on are f90-mode and cmake-mode, perhaps some sh-mode and makefile-mode if work takes me in that direction.

    @AndreaCrotti are you looking for me?

    Let's say I made a minor mode and I want to make snippets that get installed for that minor mode, would I contribute them here (yasnippet-snippets), or would my melpa project install the snippets for you?

    @AndreaCrotti
    haven't opened this chat for a long time :O
    @joeheyming would be better to contribute them to yasnippet-snippets
    otherwise in your project you have to let the user know to add another directory to yas-root-dirs

    Thanks for responding. I decided to do this trick I found here: https://github.com/magnars/angular-snippets.el/blob/master/angular-snippets.el Basically
    Basically I did an autoload that updates yas-snippet-dirs to point to the installed package from melpa.

    @joeheyming in case that's useful to know now this project is properly packaged on melpa https://melpa.org/#/yasnippet-snippets

    Is there something special that I need to do to get yasnippet to find snippets that are in subdirectories of a mode directory?
    it finds all the top level snippets without issue
