Ah in the meantime, I discovered this repo. Might be better for me to use instead: https://github.com/asadsahi/AspNetCoreSpa

I've installed both @types for bootstrap and jquery, but keep getting this error: Property 'carousel' does not exist on type 'JQuery'. Is there something I should include to $('.carousel').carousel()?

@vivdkool What command are you running? lib, strictNullChecks, baseUrl, and types were fields that were all added to the tsconfig.json with the upgrade to TS 2.0. There are known issues in running certain commands like typedoc as the associated repository has not yet been updated to TS 2.0.

@mhheise i didn't run anything i am using webstorm and when i open about.ts file encountered this
Matt Heise
@mhheise
@vivdkool Try updating your TypeScript version in WebStorm. In the default settings dialog go to Languages & Frameworks -> TypeScript -> Check "Enable TypeScript Compiler" -> Click "Edit" -> Select "Custom directory" -> Point to your custom install directory (here, this will be %YOUR_PROJECT_ROOT%/node_modules/typescript/lib) -> Select "OK". Alternatively, you can use VS Code and follow the steps I outlined AngularClass/angular2-webpack-starter#781.
If you are okay upgrading to a newer version, WebStorm 2016.2 appears to have TS 2.0 support as well, and that may be an easier path for you to take.

Hi I've started to use this awesome starterkit. I'm having some trouble with appState. After I hint F5, all state is deleted.
How can I keep appState between page refreshes?
Joe
@foxjazz
one of the things that should be fixed before release is that if a templateUrl has errors, there needs to be a way to notify developer of those errors, either in the debug window, or something.
Joe
@foxjazz
@mhheise I just got web storm yesterday for my mac. The windows version runs clunky, doesn’t feel smooth. Maybe my mac processor is faster which is why it feels smoother.

Is there an easy way for me to add .net core to the starter pack, for my server side code?

I have a serious problem with production. I have a route ’/app’. And it cannot be found because the URL is beautified, it’s not ‘localhost/#app’ but ‘localhost/app` so when I deploy, it cannot find the ‘app/index’. Please help :(
Matt Heise
@mhheise
@mclouvem I would not think the appState should be preserved when the app is refreshed -- you are reloading all of the app resources as if you had navigated to the page for the first time. If you want to maintain the appState during development, you should leverage HMR through npm run server:dev:hmr.
Matt Heise
@mhheise
@ejdelrosario_twitter If you are looking to use angular2-material, check out the material2 branch in this repository.
@BioSin I think this is documented moment/moment-timezone#341. How are you trying to import the moment module in your code? Are you using something like import * as moment from 'moment'?
@shortgiraffe4 Are you using HashLocationStrategy or PathLocationStrategy? I am not sure what you mean by beautified in this context... There should not be a time when you have localhost/#app; it should probably be localhost/#/app.
Pho Huynh
@shortgiraffe4
@mhheise Where can I config those strategies?
I want to use HashLocationStategy instead
Matt Heise
@mhheise
From master, here. Unless you have changed the default from this repository, HashLocationStrategy is the default.

@tan9
@BioSin you can issue a PR to https://github.com/DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped/tree/types-2.0 directly. The @types defitions was forked from an earlier DefinitelyTyped master branch.

@Spittal
Has anyone found a solution to this using unit testing?

How do you install lodash without webpack complaining that it can’t find it?
As per docs, it looks like you could just npm install —save lodash && npm install —save @types/lodash but when webpack does it’s thing the following error occurs:
[default] /Users/kenneth/Projects/benchmark/web-client/src/app/api/resources/location.ts:3:20
Cannot find module 'lodash'.
In my service, I’m importing as such, import * as _ from 'lodash’;
