because right now I think people are being turned off due to lack of progress etc as well as elements in the game
that and lack of advertising

I was thinking of having a button or something on the event bubble that the user can press. When this is pressed, he does a sort of quest or something and events are inactive for a period of time.
then we can have other events that keep that idleness of the game
so he just does stuff automatically
I was going to work on that once it was merged

like being attacked, its not really something you opt in to
but some events that would initiate an attack by you could still be opt-in, like stepping in to aid other people
or choosing to investigate that odd sound down the back of a dark alley

start a new post on reddit about theming events
you guys come up with half a dozen initial events you want to put in the game
list their descriptions in the post
and ask for art to accompany each event
i bet people will jump at the chance
