    in my test i have select file from modal window
    my test execute ok, but never add element
    Mark Collin
    @Ardesco
    what has this got to do with a maven plugin that downloads a driver binary for you?
    I suggest you take random Selenium queries to an appropriate place like the Selenium users mailing list
    soniacepedano
    @soniacepedano
    hi gues
    someone how to put parameter to execute in more than one environment, exmple integration and test
    ?
    Mark Collin
    @Ardesco
    sorry I don’t understand the question
    soniacepedano
    @soniacepedano
    i have two environments (test and pro) to execute selenium test
    i have done test only in pro
    but now it's necesary run test in test environmen
    Mark Collin
    @Ardesco
    the binary downloader plugin doesn’t care what environment you are in. It just downloads binaries for you
    soniacepedano
    @soniacepedano
    how?
    Mark Collin
    @Ardesco
    it checks to see if a library has been downloaded, if it hasn’t it downloads it
    the code is all on git

    @Ardesco is it possible to load in the repository using a dependency jar? It would be really useful.
    Mark Collin
    @Ardesco
    You mean set a jar as the source for the binary?
    If you do that you already have the binary locally surely
    Haroon Sheikh
    @haroon-sheikh
    @Ardesco I meant the repository map from a jar file.
    Can we modify the plugin when it searches for the map from project to include dependencies. I would contribute but I'm not familiar with plugin development.
    But I have seen plugin do that? For example, checkstyle plugin let's you specify the xml document from the project as well as plugin dependencies.
    Mark Collin
    @Ardesco

    Ah I understand, yes that’s easy, put:

    <xmlRepositoryMap>${project.basedir}/src/main/resources/RepositoryMap.xml</xmlRepositoryMap>

    in your configuration block.

    See http://static.javadoc.io/com.lazerycode.selenium/driver-binary-downloader-maven-plugin/1.0.11/com/lazerycode/selenium/SeleniumServerMojo.html for the config options

    Oh wait I’m not reading what you wrote properly, sounds like something to raise on the issues list as an enhancement request

    @Ardesco
    what’s that got to do with the binary downloader plugin?
    Haroon Sheikh
    @haroon-sheikh
    @Ardesco When you get a chance, can you review this for me? Ardesco/selenium-standalone-server-plugin#54
    Mark Collin

    Hallo, i have a problem with my automatic tests. I run my tests in a windows vm with selenium. But the test do not run through. Here the error message:

    java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect
    Error: An unknown server-side error occurred while processing the command

    java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
    Error: An unknown server-side error occurred while processing the command.

    ?

    Mark Collin
    @Ardesco
    looks like it's trying to connect to something that's not running

    Hi there, I have some troubles with Firefox & Safari with Selenium. Chrome the test will work and it's doing an great job! I have Firefox version 56.0 and Selenium server version 3.7.x and geckodriver 0.19.x. But when I start the test the browser will come up and then after the first two steps it will fail. Because it can't find the element. Already tried to wait for an long time, but that doesn't work at all
    Mark Collin
    @Ardesco
    sounds like a question for the selenium users mailing list or stack overflow. Couldn't tell you without seeing your code and the site you are trying to automate

    Hi guys, i have 1 small question
    is there a way to change a folder structure for uploading binary files? i mean, from
    drivers/windows/someBrowser/64/driver.exe
    to
    drivers/driver.exe (driver folder will contain all drivers for all browsers)
    Mark Collin
    @Ardesco
    no, the code expects a specific file structure

    Good morning. I want to use browser.setWindowRect, but I get the error: browser.setWindowRect is not a function
    Mark Collin
    @Ardesco

    sounds like a selenium question, not a maven plugin question. This may help

    Hi, I am trying to download selenium stand-alone through the JavaScript package . But since the corporate firewalls are blocking the exe downloads. I am manually downloaded them and intend to host it in internal network by tweaking baseurl in the config file. However I am getting ERROR: self signed certificate in certificate chain error
    Any one how to either disable the certificate need or how to add certificate to that script?
    Mark Collin
    @Ardesco
    Can you raise an issue
    no support for that at the moment
    (Well no explicit support)
