    Would this be correct that if I use the Skyviper board, I can place it on a different frame and have it function with a DC motor setup? If I would use a Pixracer, I would still need a brushed motor controller connected between the Pixracer and the DC motor?

    @dmos62 Not aware of any, there were/are some like Intel or Qualcomm Flight Pro with the snapdragon but support is discontinued, also has some proprietary code I think. But maybe someone will chime in that knows one I am not aware of. There's also Solo of course but discontinued + separate FC and companion computer.

    hi there!
    Im trying to deploy 5 vehicles (2 quads and 3 planes). They need to all transmit video, telemetry and rc quite far (60km) and all at the same time (all 5 vehicles). We have access radio towers 50m in elevation we are allowed to use to for the antennas and transmitters and receivers but im having a hard time wrapping my head around a few things.
    • If I put a bunch of high gain antennas to cover near 360º and simply alter the frequency of the receiver and transmitter, will that work given we will need to take these to their end of RF capabilities? (and their frequencies will be too close)
    • If I switch to a digital link, does anyone have any suggestions. I'm not too cost conscious. I don’t want 5 sets of 20k silvus radios but 2-5k for each system (I presume I will need 5) is ok.

    - It's just that doing the math, I can't get this to work on a fully digital links (i.e. microhard) unless i add such high gain antennas i need to start tracking them which i need to avoid. I want a healthy link budget so im trying to keep the frequency a low as practical but I cant use 900mhz, it would need to be 868 so a lot of the stuff ive seen isnt available in 868. I thought of ubiquity units but the 900mhz side back an issue.

    I am trying to manage how I can get 60km coverage (for telemetry, video and rc control) and not have all the vehicles not let the other have any RF space.
    Any thoughts (LTE is also out)? (edited)

    @krady21 That already exists or existed in the code check it first it was activated with a switch or throttle stick I believe

    Is it possible to use GPS hold without altitude hold? I'm trying to figure a way to keep a tether from having a bunch of slack in it. I was thinking instead of holding altitude the UAV could just always be barely above hover throttle.

    I want to use OpenCV with Mission Planner, where I have the drone visit waypoints and when it reaches the last waypoint it uses OpenCV to detect and track an object and follow it.
    Do I have to create a new mode and add it as an event and use this as the last waypoint? Is there a way to trigger running the OpenCV program via mavlink?

    If you can upload your own software using STLINK, uploading ArduPilot should be the same. I guess its going to be a 2 stages process A) Bootloader and B) AP Binaries

    and when i set waypoint altitude to 0 it does descend to 0 instead of holding, has anyone encountered this ?

    Thanks Polak, i understand, is there another way to achieve what i described with a plane ? a "global" altitude command or a way to "ignore" waypoint altitude when using Auto mode?
    and another question - is there a way to configure the Pixhawk to switch to Auto mode automatically when AFS_Enable is on and it lost link with GCS while in guided or FBW_B?
