    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    yeah
    can I share images on here?
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    you can test the cables individually, but if thats still not working there must be something else, maybe a firmware version
    Is it working?
    Ryan P
    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    yeah it's working
    all new hdmi cables, but i wonder if the mono price isn't that good
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    woohoo! The first person to build it
    the mono price?
    using these
    they worked 444 and HDR10 before the splitter
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    then they should work after the splitter too
    oh, what mode is the splitter in?
    Ryan P
    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    the switch on the front says off
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    which one do you have?
    Ryan P
    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    the more expensive model you linked
    ezcoo
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    okay, lemme go flash mine back to factory to get the same setup
    Ryan P
    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    SP12HAS
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    but all the cables in this worked before for HDR10@4K ?
    Ryan P
    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    correct
    let me double check to make sure im using all the same cables
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    well just that each of the two between input and switch and switch and TV are good :)
    Ryan P
    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    yeah all three cables are MP
    i ordered this
    will be in tomorrow
    see if that fixes anything
    i'm seriously the first one to build this? that's crazy haha
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    oh, I see on the back of this splitter there is a step by step for how to get the right EDID
    TL;DR looks like, power everything on and then plug in the downscale thing last
    Ryan P
    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    that will effect HDR?
    or just initial hand shake?
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    yeah
    Ryan P
    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    which one lol
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    Well the EDID will also give the config that says "this device supports HDR"
    Ryan P
    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    oh gotcha
    let me try it
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    the steps are physically printed on the back of the splitter
    Ryan P
    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    yeah i tried to follow that
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    so try power it down and then power it up without HDMI2 OUT connected
    and see if you get HDR
    Ryan P
    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    boom
    hdr
    weird
    i thought i tried that
    Andrew MacPherson
    @AndrewMohawk
    yeah it is a bit weird, but maybe the cables were in the wrong order when it booted or something
    but at least it should be good for now!
    Ryan P
    @ryan.pfl_gitlab
    except now i lost output
