I'm starting to work with the MEAN stack (mean.io), which includes mongoose. There's a utility app there that I ran (mean status) and it gives me this result

MEAN Status

MEAN VERSION: 0.5.5

dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _node_module_register
Referenced from: /usr/local/lib/node_modules/mean-cli/node_modules/mongoose/node_modules/mongodb/node_modules/mongodb-core/node_modules/kerberos/build/Release/kerberos.node
Expected in: dynamic lookup

Any ideas why this might be, and if it's going to cause problems for my installation?

for a mongoose doc, is there a way to have fields populated by default? I thought the minimze:false option flag would acheive this but this only applies to fields that are set as Mixed.
*populating by default to empty(null, '')
i guess i can set the defaults for each field
nvm, that is easy enough :)

Hi, how can we track the changes of collections then get the old and new values?

@EricMcRay, have you heard of mean.io and the mean-tokens package that was built for it? Not a firm answer to your question, but it's a similar use-case or pattern. Basically you store the string you want to convert along with the strings you want to display. In your case you'd do something very similar but add the language keys for each display string.
could be a decent jump-start on your project
