hey guys, do you know of a good way of gathering all modified fields in a post or pre-save hook?
on a model

You could use Document#isModified()
But you'd have to do it manually for each field :/

Is there an app that works like phpmyadmin for mongoose... I found that https://github.com/azat-co/mongoui but this is too small app for advanced queries in mongoose

If I'm interpreting what you mean, RoboMongo might be a good choice too. I'm not sure if it's free or not

I'm not sure if there's a difference between mongoose and mongodb queries, is there? I always assumed Mongoose was just a syntactical wrapper around the native MongoDB Node driver

Oh, I see. We use mocha as our testing framework and just manually connect to our Mongo database using a dummy test collection

@MarioCroSite If you are looking for a native approach for populate, you can take a look on: https://docs.mongodb.org/manual/reference/operator/aggregation/lookup/
