@asmi77 and @lineus asmi is not storing the file in mongoose. Only storing the path to the file. So this is not a mongoose problem but his/her webserver is not setup to serve the files perhaps. @asmi77 what is your backend server? Is it Express or other?

@panigrah , thank you for your answer. Actually, that was my problem. I have an Express backend, and as you said, it was not set to serve static files. Now it is ! I used express.static and I can reach my static files (and therefore my images) and display them in my vue.js frontend. In fact, that has nothing to do with my database. Sorry for the off-topic. And thank you for putting me on the right track.
