Because I'm going for mvvm first class support I decided that items source and items can be the same thing
As items only really supported non mvvm situations

I thought that! MVVM is the way to go!

By the way, I'm trying to bind the SelectedItem to a SelectedName
(ViewModel.SelectedName, of course)
I don't know why it doesn't work :S

I'm doing this: listBox.GetObservable(SelectingItemsControl.SelectedItem).Subscribe(UpdateModelFromUI)
all the bindings work perfectly, except for the one to SelectedItem :astonished:

@grokys I also have doubts on how DataTemplates could be used in XAML
Styles and DataTemplates are way different :S
(in WPF and in Perspex, I mean)
I think of something like a wrapper for them
(for DataTemplates at least)

IDatatemplate is what is accepted by everything so you could write a XamlDataTemplate
