its been a while since I tried linux
later on i'll try and debug it a bit
that's running on Bash for Windows 10
but same happens in native linux

ok, well i'm rewriting the rendering stuff right now so it will probably break even more soon ;)

depends on how much free time i have
hopefully soon! it's starting to get there
you can always try out the branch but it definitely won't work with something like avalonstudio yet

btw i also found a pretty major source of leaks. we need to set SharpDX.Configuration.EnableReleaseOnFinalizer = true; under direct2d or tons of resource are never disposed!
