@kekekeks the Avalonia.Ide Editor.Wpf is a wpf editor app for avalonia xaml?

It's just a textbox, actually
I needed something to test completion

It's a sandbox app for testing intellisense, yes
but not an actual usable editor

i wish....
what's the proper discussion room for the avaloniavs extension?

Here, I guess
My current plan is:
1) merge AvaloniaUI/AvaloniaVS#47
2) switch to Avalonia.IDE in AugmentCompletionSession (by including it as a submodule or something)
3) integrate changes from AvaloniaUI/AvaloniaVS#35 to Avalonia.IDE
Unfortunately, vs extension usually receives some development time only before Avalonia releases
When we need to ensure that everything works mostly fine, update package versions, etc

the ide sample project, could it be used as a poor-man's xaml editor? :)

I'd recommend to use Avalon(ia)Edit at least
As an editor
I was initially planning to integrate previewer there
And have a standalone editor

@mterwoord probably Avalon studio would be a good way to go, it wouldn't take a lot of work
it already has avalonia edit integrated
I will get round to it eventually
but no time at the moment.

what i find a not-so-nice thing, is that the editor of the avaloniavs doesn't let resharper do some magic (camel humps)
Nikita Tsukanov
@kekekeks
Jun 22 2017 14:25 UTC
ReSharper will try to do other magic and fail horribly

@kekekeks #1 is something you (or someone else with write access) has to do. #2 and #3 i could maybe help with. that would give us much improved intellisense, and easily improvable code?

#2 will allow easier development of intellisense engine
Without having to start a VS instance and open project each time
It usually takes up to a minute or two just to check if code is working as intended

Is #1 required to get #2 going? And how much work would that mean?
