I'm of course joking about the appicon, but the toolbar seriously looks better to me

@grokys You were supposed to stop the Sith, not join them

ha, did you only just see that ;)
yeah, they decided not to go with my idea to build it using avalonia! :P

@grokys regarding 357-layers issues
In Cocoa you have to explicitly request a layer for a view
Steven Kirk
@grokys
Nov 08 2017 09:10 UTC
yeah, that might be a better option
Nikita Tsukanov
@kekekeks
Nov 08 2017 09:10 UTC
By setting wantsLayer to TRUE
Steven Kirk
@grokys
Nov 08 2017 09:10 UTC
but there's also lots i can do to cut down those layers
for example <Rectangle Fill="Blue" Opacity="0.5"/> currently creates a new layer, which is STUPID

@kekekeks
Nov 08 2017 09:11 UTC
You also need to reduce the size of layers

@danwalmsley you haven't referenced Avalonia.Ide properly
[submodule "AvalonStudio\\Avalonia.Ide\\"]
        path = AvalonStudio\\Avalonia.Ide\\

Why do you need NRefactory?
It was deprecated ages ago

Are you shipping the whole .NET Core SDK or something?
Why are you doing that?
I don't understand
dotnet command is always available from PATH
You can get SDK path using dotnet --info

Mkay, now it does not load the project
It's stuck on (loading)
Ouch, apparently, I was spamming messages to a wrong chat

@kekekeks basically with embdedded systems, you often need multiple compilers, cross compilers and the idea is that it just downloads and installs one for you
obviously when it comes to .net core this is not the case
so plan is to check if dotnet core is already in the path
and if so just use that one
not sure why its stuck on loading... its probably a dependency that's missing, are there any exceptions
@kekekeks I think it might be missing Microsoft.CodeAnalysis.dll from bin directory?
