i was using a given version from the prerelase chanenl, but somehow 1 package got removed from there

hmm, somehow when running my avalonia app on my beaglebone (fullscreen on startup), everything is black.
can it be that skia doesn't see the framebuffer output of x11
?

i start off with a terminal window (graphical), but i think it's rendered using the framebuffer

Are you trying to use /dev/fb0 when running X11 session?
That will not work

i start avalonia with UseSkia() and UseGtk3()
i see the main window appear, but the contents are all black

maybe the console warning "gtk_window_resize: assertion 'width > 0' failed" is a clue for what's happening
