@insonifi I have not tested this, but it just might be possible with the transport implemented in this commit DrunkenInfant/locomote-video-player@63275e6 as this protocol sends GET/POST via browser instead of Socket. Just guessing, but perhaps these requests will be considered authenticated. (This pull request will be merged soon.)

This protocol was implemented to avoid socketpolicy requests on port 843. It will request regular socketpolicy.xml over http/https which is a lot nicer when the client is behind a corporate proxy.

@h-no, looks like it handles only RTSP streams. Will it handle MJPEG over HTTP too?
We have RTSP authentication somewhat sorted out, by introducing tokens. But HTTP isn't using them (since why would you want them, as browser already adds header for all request from the page).
not with Flash, though
