    Hi Friends, I really like the Azure Durable Functions. Where is why:
    I needed to track a progress of long running Azure Function and had to hackaround somehow on my own with zero chances to capture the restart scenarios.
    I even posted a stackoverflow question here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/46675944/how-to-get-runtime-status-of-queue-triggered-azure-function
    After learning about Durable Functions I could post an answer to my question.
    I wish all the best to the team.

    Hello, I am just getting started with the repo so please forgive me if this is a known issue. When I run the unit tests I am getting a lot of 409 conflict errors. Anyone else getting this behavior? Azure/durabletask#134

    @chilberto I also am having the same issues running tests while connected to Azure.

    @cgillum, is there any way we can make the task activities parallel, split and merge them ? like a state machine orchestrations ?
    Salman Tariq Lone
    @salmanlone
    Hello everyone. Is there anyway that i can re-queue my failed orchestrations on DTF?
    Maxime Rouiller
    @MaximRouiller
    @salmanlone I don't know of any ways but I know that you can have activities with automatic retries on them: https://docs.microsoft.com/azure/azure-functions/durable-functions-error-handling?WT.mc_id=social-gitter-marouill

    @cgillum , how can we get Durable functions on On-Prem servers (which do not have access s to Internet(:) )

    Hi,
    When I debug my function, each n second, I find brackpoint that execute code and then stop on "call Activity" line. Why?
    Where can I find documantation of this behaviours?
    Carl in 't Veld
    @cveld
    can anyone explain to me to what extent durable functions are really reliable?
    Chris Gillum
    @cgillum
    @cveld if there is a process crash, the orchestration will resume automatically from the last await statement. It uses event sourcing techniques to rebuild state and queues to ensure reliable message delivery.
    Carl in 't Veld
    @cveld
    @cgillum yes I understand the replay concept. But I don't yet understand the details how the orchestrator is restarted.

    @cgillum I also asked some additional questions over here: https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs/issues/16504#issuecomment-428277123

    Hi, are there any sample for DurableTask.Emulator?

    Could anyone shed some light on when this feature will be merged: Azure/durabletask#218 thx...

    Hi all,
    My task hub name, in local development, is the default.
    I try:
    {
      "durableTask": {
        "HubName": "MyTaskHub"
      }
    }
    This JSON is in host.json according Microsoft docs. But not work for me.
    Andrea Tosato
    @andreatosato
    Sorry, I resolved with:
    {
      "version": "2.0",
      "extensions": {
        "durableTask": {
          "HubName": "MyTaskHub"
        }
      }
    }

    Hello,
    Is there any information on what is involved in running the Durable Task Framework in a Service Fabric Stateless service? More specifically to have DTF Activities use the SF Remoting system to communicate with other services running in other SF Stateless services. Essentially the DTF will end up orchestrating a bunch of calls to SF Stateless services via Activities. PS I am assessing the capabilities and limitations of DTF and I find it really meets most of my criteria. Now, if I can only run it in SF! Thanks George.
    Chris Gillum
    @cgillum
    @georgestevens99 There isn't full support for Service Fabric yet. You can find initial support, including (I think) a readme with instructions in this PR: Azure/durabletask#210

    Hello, Running the "my first Durable Functions" sample (London, etc) on my desk top left 2 tables in the local storage emulator that are highly useful. They are named DurableFunctionsHubHistory and DurableFunctionsHubInstances. I have figured out these are produced by code that runs in Durable Functions outside the view of a specific function, i.e. in the runtime. Can you direct me to the code that does the queries to produce these useful tables so that I can use it in standalone services directly using the Durable Task Framework? Or perhaps the framework already has this code and I am not seeing it. Thanks! George
    georgestevens99
    @georgestevens99
    There are a few very useful TaskHubClient methods that are supported in Azure Durable Functions (according to the documentation) but not supported in the Durable Task Framework downloaded from Git. Of special import are Rewind (in preview in Durable Functions) and also GetStatusAsync() with no args or a cancellation token. Is there any way to surface these (especially rewind) in Durable Task Framework as they are in Durable Functions? Is this on your roadmap? Rewind is of major importance. Thanks. George

    Hi guys, For some reason the tasks are getting picked after 30 min while execution by dtf, what could be some pointers where i need to investigate and also observing that orchestration stop log is getting printed twice

    Hello,
    I have a small question about DTF, im unable to use DI by passing something in the constructor of my TaskActivity or TaskOrchestration, it just don't get called.
    It seem's I get a "System.MissingMethodException". Is there a resolver to set or something ?
    Im running DTF in a .NET Core 3 service worker and im using Autofac.
