While we want to get Idoneth out ... I don't want to have us delay the initial release indefinitely as new catalogs will keep coming out.
To get a release, we need to do the validation on the catalogs in the 'release ready' section. It might be best to split out the Compendium catalogs from the 'release ready' documentation into separate issues. (I think there is one already in #204 )
Although I do think it would be worthwhile adding the Deepkin given we will likely be releasing the v2.0 files very close after their book comes out.
What do we want to do about the Forge World catalogues? Should we include those in the v2.0 files? We've added most of the units already, and I'm half-way through the Legion of Azgorh which is the only separate allegiance.
That's what we've done so far. The only ones that need their own catalogue are the Legion of Azgorh which have their own Allegience rules. Given we've nearly finished them all we might as well include them in the v2.0 release.
Which means I'll focus on finishing off the chaos dwarfs before I move onto the Deepkin.
Yep! I've been using the Nurgle and Stormcast ones already for my own lists, and everything I've tried has checked out so far. That being said, would it be worth releasing everything as a Beta to the public first, once we've completed all the v2.0 tasks?
Oh, @alphalas Can you check off the catalog work that is done for Seraphon and Lizards?
or has been done for them, already?
So ... handling artefacts/battle trait validation ... my read of the GHB is that for units that qualify for multiple allegiances, you choose one and then can only take battle traits/artefacts from that one.
I know you had done submissions for both. Get the FAQ stuff handled, I'll be minimally available over the weekend.... I might actually do a personal distributed cat of all of them and do some validation testing over the weekend.
