Is there any benefit to taking a larger size unit (like castigators or prosecuters) vs taking a second unit?

depends on the unit, but bonuses might include, discount (massive regiment), unit bonuses (eg pluses to hit/wound/attacks), battleshock (for every 10), buffs (eg unit A gives unit B more attacks, if unit B is bigger it gets more use out of the buff), pile in (possibly? if some models in the unit cant quite make the charge, but the models in front can, the models furhter away can then pile in), ability to remove models from the back way out of the mesurement of an objective
I play skaven though so large blobs is what we do

This is for inherently small units like castigators or prosecutors

i'd say the buffs point is probably most prevelent then, also you only need 1 model to be inside of a "within X inches" bubble so you can stretch out more and still get buffs

@acebaur Well ... the issue with smaller units is that they can be more easily wiped off the board.
Forcing lots of saves, or MW on a unit that is inherently small means that you're more likely to see their threat evaporate.
So, I might ask, do you need them to have more staying power, (though larger size) or do you need to cover two areas of the board, which entails two separate units. (due to the model removal rule for coherency)
For example, a unit of 10 Blood Warriors has much more staying power than 5, but multiple units of 5 are still threats themselves.

That's a good question, I'm not entirely sure. I'm new to AoS so I'm trying to figure out what will be best
A lot of the sce units are small
You also get the extra prime at the cost of staying power
That's the list I was thinking of as a start

Why not just use markup?
In any case it doesn't look bad. Do you feel you have addressed issues with Casters, and spell denial? You have fast-attack addressed with leaders and prosecutors.
@rweyrauch or @FreylisUK Would likely be better to ask on the SCE side of things.

What's markup?
Well not sure really about spell casting, like I said new to this game so I basically picked units I like and fit the diablo angel theme I'm looking for

@acebaur It's just one of the output options when displaying lists.
Well then, it seems to be pretty solid from my perspective :grinning:
