So ... can a model attack a unit that isn't visible to them?
It looks like visibility might not affect melee?
Melee, you can attack if you have range.
that's under the core rules.... but missile weapons can't attack unless they have visibility.
Which means that you can't shoot with units more than 1" away if you're fighting in the woods.
that brings new meaning to the Command Trait "Nothing Left Standing" in destruction.

tbh its a good idea on the writer's part, it lets them borrow bits and peices from the old lore where possible, and might allow for some fun connections

So was playing with a list last night; with the AoS1 2 starters halves (only one celestant on dracoth) I have, 2 2pks of easybuild rets, a AoS2 starter half, a extra ballista, and an ordinator that’s 2500

I can't even prime yet as I have some bitz and greenstuff work to do on the ogres
make them fit cold weather a little better. I'm contemplating making a mongolian-style hat for an ogre-sized head and bluestuff molding it to just pump them out for every non-helmeted ogre

@OftKilted I compromised. I picked up the starter box and did not get the endless spell box (yet). The new SE units are simply too good to pass up.
Updated the painting contact for July to finish up some Palladors and to paint a few units from the Soul Wars box.

@rweyrauch sounds like an excellent plan... for SCE you don’t get the benefit of spells until you build the next chamber. And the SCE specific endless spells are coming soon!

newbie question, for Nighthaunt's Frightful Touch: if you have more than one attack and you roll a 6, does just that particular attack end or do you stop all together?
like in the case of Olynder's banshees, they have 6 attacks, if you have 4 other hits and a 6 you still roll for the other 4?
