github for windows is being weird for me, its difficult to keep my fork in sync with the main branch. I either have to manually git pull it or recreate the fork. Is that what I'm meant to do?

Unfortunately, it is. Forks are meant to be completely separate.
If you want to make it a bit more convenient, instead of forking master, create a local branch and delete it after merge each time, it's easier and makes it more local.

You can just always pull just before you commit. You should also pull when you begin editing, and just before you push, and just after you push. Basically git pull all day every day.

Hm... Did anyone else notice this? When you do a Detachment/Formation and include the formation rules under the entry in the catalogue, they don't up in the printout... Like I have an auxilary-type entry Hammer of Caliban. Under this entry are the rules for the formation and the units it needs... The units rules show up, not those of the formation.

Hammer the Heretics is e.g., showing up for me in inline view
sorry, summary view rather
anyway, brb
i don't have the codex yet, but are the strike forces valid formation choices in The Lion's Blade?

I had a similar issue in the Necron, though re-doing the conditions allowed it to show up again. Its possibly a bug in battlescribe as revisions are resaved.

Weird. I see... Hammer the Heretics shows up. But if I choose a Deathwing Strike Force as Detachment type, those don't show. Probably someting in the game files...?
The forces are formations in themselves like a CAD, though not with Decurion Style Auxilaries.

Ah.. if I define them as their own force type, it doesn't work. If I select them as a Core in The Lion's blade (which in itself is erroneous) they show up. Guess I defined them wrong somehow.

uh oh, that's a worry. I just spent a while moving the tyranid unit profile and entries to links and now battlescribe doesn't want to open it (click ok for Tyranid and doesn't go any further)

oh thank god, worked it out. Somehow linked an entry group back to itself rather than to the profile I wanted.
