Hey guys. Quick question. Was #2158 my fault? Did I do something wrong with the data file or was it related to the update for the flier profiles?

I'm having a bit of trouble interpreting the commit from HeWhoWatches was it related to the transports or the Fliers.

The issue was in regards to a modifier changing unit type based off of a condition. It was a fairly rare scenario that wasn't accounted for when doing the switch over to new Flyer profiles.

Ah. OK. Just wanted to make sure I didn't overlook something when I made the changes to add transport profiles.

I'm just wondering why @HeWhoWatches commented and closed a lot of things after I pushed the release, rather than posting it was fixed earlier than that
no, had nothing to do with transport profiles. There's one or two ork flyers that can change their unit type so Super Heavy transport I think? Something along those lines.

I'll try to get the new Ork Flier added on Monday. Is it the CSM catalog that has an example of how to handle flier wings?

Got another question.
I've got a buddy who plays eldar. He runs a Skathach.

I made a new shared entry, like a new formation. Put an entry group into there, with a link to the flyer entry. Set it to 2-4 selections in it and set the default selection. Then create a new root level link to the new entry as a Flyer Wing and another as Fast Attack, Heavy Support, or whatever it is.

When he creates a force he has 2 Eldar Codex options even though there is only 1 in the release we push out.
Is his best bet to blow away his catalogs and redownload?

probably a deprecated file that wasn't deleted
I'd have him delete files and resync

Will do.
Do we have a process to force deletes of files if we do something like rename them, or if a new codex comes out and we decide to discontinue the file for the old codex?

No, and there's no real way to do it automatically

I figured as much. Just thought I'd ask.

mainly because there's no official connection between BS and us data authors

Yea. Jon just gives us heads up on releases and bugs. Otherwise we're on our own.
Whenever I need to purge I just (for iOS at least) delete all bsi links. Unlink Dropbox. Then delete files. Then when you reljnk the bsi it should be fresh

On iOS you can just delete data too
