Sorry, but again, this isn't the fix. Setting the limits this way controls the number of units within the Kill Team, but not the models, as these units (Termies, Vanguards Vets, Vets etc) are already specified within a Shared Entry. I'd like to share the file with you guys, as it may make it easier to see what I mean, but I'm not sure how best to do it. Via the Issues tab on BSData/wh40k?

Make the individual models the shared entries, then treat the unit like it's a formation. Could be a decent work around
Then for the formations, you build the unit anew and set restrictions that way for unit size
To see what you're talking about, you can always screenshot then post it here. For an example of setting the unit like a formation, look at the Heldrake flyer wing in the KDK file

The individual model as the shared entry looks like the way to go. I fear this will break all of my modifiers.

It very well might. Fortunately, there is a TON more options to get it set up well in BS2.0.

Yup. 2.0 is, excuse the expression, the Tits.

That was the fix cartag, thanks. As expected, it broke a lot, but nothing some beer can't fix.

It should be a much more elegant solution though for implementing the rest of it, right?

Aye, and the only one I've found, so that adds to the elegance.

I messed around with that idea when fiddling with the chaos renegades files. Heavy weapons teams you can just link to rather than recreate for each and every squad

Thanks for the help, I think I have all bugs out. What is the next step? I haven't had any other eyes on this file, so I don't want to just put it up if that isn't the normal way of things.

Right, should also say it is a Deathwatch Codex, including Masque and Overkill, so you don't have to read my posts history here.

Honestly just tossing it up and making a release will likely be the quickest way to get the bugs noticed. Get out in front of people who don't know how it's "supposed" to work.
wait, how many people do we have working on Deathwatch files currently?

I made the file I have, and then came here for help on the formations day before yesterday. I haven't been here before that, so I don't know if anyone else has been working on a separate file.

Great question. I think all but 1 recent add was for deathwatch
Kwai is the first with a file tho
