Shit like #2499 and #2482 are why I didn't want to have to do a special chaos lord for each formation, it's way more trouble than its worth. Now I get to dig through the file and find every instance that checks for the marks for one chaos lord and implement three more for the new lords.

Yea :(
Open a can of worms, especially for work that is already done in the new version

This is why I just had a note saying it would be implemented in 2.0. So instead, I'm literally just making more work for myself that won't even fucking matter in a month or two.

So just close the ticket saying as such.
Or revert the change, so that it worked how you had it before
It's inane to keep working on shit like that which is already fixed in a version due in a month or two.

It will get reopened by @amis92 and he'll tell me to just make a duplicate. Because most of our chaos players are illiterate and don't know how to read something that is spelled out plainly in the rule listing for the file.

So let him to it then.
*do it

The changes are already done, now I'm just left dealing with all the bugs left by it. And at this point it'll be more work to undo everything.

That sucks :(
I wish we had a SRD to follow for this repo sometimes.
Getting people to follow it would be impossible with how the project is laid out though

And adding a message on the issue submiter (inapp and git) telling BS2 is comming and that maybe the bug is already solved there?

Dunno if it's possible or not, or if people would even read it, but maaaaaaaaaaaybe just maaaaaaaaybe someone gives it a read?

Glad I don't do chaos now. That sounds like a total pain in the ass.

I've had those notes added, people don't fucking read them.

@cartag sorry I've made it such a pain, have I known the outcome I surely wouldn't say a word.

Just... BS2.0 is possibly not even this year, so, you know. Software engineering, especially single-handedly, is damn hard to estimate; not blaming Jon here. Rather trying to splash some cold water: BS2 didn't even come out of alpha (okay, there's a point that BS1 never actually got out of beta, according to semver). Relying/waiting on BS2 is just a not-if-it's-not-all-but-impossible.
