I have it fairly straightforward in SM
It's all based on a "Chapter Tactics" selection in No Force Org
Hide/show/adjust based on what is selected

rules question - malefic possession - if you cast from in a combat, does that instantly end the combat? or does the new GD appear in the combat?

Not true. The first page of Datasheets says that if a fortification has Faction symbol on top, it can be taken only by that Faction. So, nothing changed :)

@alphalas the psyker is removed as a casualty, which ends the combat if they are the only one there. possession is a conjuration, so it follows the rules for deep strike - ie. you can't deep strike into combat

Kk so that is how it works - cool we did it right
I was playing a game where a corsair prince was in CC with a sang guard squad and Dante - he possessed, then in my next turn that sang guard squad and my other 2 that were free nuked it with shooting

I ran golden host, a custodes detachment, and a null maiden detachment
The custodes are survivable as hell

both times ive played against corsairs i was playing chaos. didnt make a single successful charge in either game

The sisters died quick - but nuking his 2 hornets and warp hunter in CC t2 with sang guard off the DS swung the game hard
Oh yeah, and one of his cheap princes was possessed by slannesh and switched sides t1
So the corsair jump squad he was attached to was instantly in CC lol

No it's one of the corsairs perils results - the prince goes over to my control because he was "possessed" by slannesh
He was perilsing like crazy

For things like the Fortress of Redemption, I broke up the fortification into Main Building, Annexes, and Connecting Walkway, with each one able to take their own building upgrades
less confusion than otherwise
The Aquila Strongpoints are all under the same thing, with choices for what weapon, instead of separate listings for each. They're broken up into Annex and Main Strongpoint as well
