@cartag that sounds nasty, re-roll a 1 when making a psychic test that you succeed on a 2+... That is a pretty small chance of failing...

@flakpanda having to select weapons individually for every veteran is a bit of a pain in the backside...

Is Hisop still an active contributor? I've been playing Inquisition recently, and would like to add text to their special rules, but don't want to step on his toes.

Nope, haven't seen him in a long time. His cats have been mostly assigned to other people now.

Does anyone object to me taking over the inquisition CAT?

I say go for it. If it needs to be fixed we can't wait forever.

As long as I'm updating the catalog keepers list, who is in charge of Deathwatch? Even if it is several people it would be good to update the wiki.

I believe it's @flakpanda.

flakpanda did the last update, I've twiddled with it in the past as well...
@amis92 wrt your previous suggestion - a notification for deprecated CAT's would be a good idea!!

Dec 02 2016 10:50
yeah, I agree. I'm almost ready to deprecate the Dread Mob file, and was just deciding what sort of message I should add to it in the version before I remove it.

I had to recreate everything in the main Ork cat, and it took longer than I expected. I'm hoping I can wrap it up early next week.
But I figured I'd add a "No Force Org" entry to the current file called "This File is Deprecated" to it for a week or 2 before I actually remove it.

Since we removed Fortifications as a CAT should we Remove them on the list of Catalog keepers, or is Kangodo still responsible for it only now it is in the gst?

@alphalas while we're loosely on the topic of who's doing what, are you going to drop the Sokar into the Deathwatch CAT? that means we can close #2504 :-)

Did we ever get anywhere on figuring out how to default the minimum selection of something in the case that it is required for a formation?
For instance for Ghaz's Bully Boyz, all meganob units have a min size of 5 instead of the traditional 3, and when I modify the constraint it doesn't add them by default, though it does throw a validation error.
Troy Graber
@tag8833
Dec 02 2016 18:01
blob
This is an example:
So the Min becomes 4, and the Max becomes 9, but by default it only selects 2, because that is the original min.
Will Pattison
@GenWilhelm
Dec 02 2016 19:07
Only way to do that currently is to create a copy of the unit with the different constraints.
It's messy and a nightmare to maintain, but the user saves 10 seconds and thats all we care about.

Dec 02 2016 19:09
That is how I've been doing it, but I just feel like there should be a better way.

9 FBDs
if each legion gets 6 artefacts/tactics/warlord traits, that's 48 new for each
Black Legion already has theirs

Simon Porter
@FarseerVeraenthis
Dec 02 2016 23:17
why do they need so many flipping detachments?!?!
cartag
@cartag
Dec 02 2016 23:17
Those are reprints from the Black Legion, Wrath of Magnus, and Traitor's Hate books
all but two
And given the scope of just how much is involved in the CSM army, it covers the equivalent of SM codex, Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Space Wolves, with the Angel's Wrath book to cover other chapters. We have CSM, Black Legion, and then this to round out the other eight. For what is sub-faction-wise as numerous as the loyalist marines.
Simon Porter
@FarseerVeraenthis
Dec 02 2016 23:22
when you put it like that, it is more reasonable...
cartag
@cartag
Dec 02 2016 23:24
and there are Chaos equivalents of AM, Admech, Knights, etc. Pretty much anything that has existed in the Imperium of Man has fallen to Chaos
