cheers @Owlsbane I know someone will moan that the seer council doesn't throw a validation error if only one jetbike is selected, but that is how we ended up in the mess in the first place... Also, theoretically you should hide Eldrad in the Seer council if someone takes a bike council because he cannot take a bike... but it is what it is, take a look and see what you think :smile:
I pushed a release btw, plenty of work completed in the last few days, well done everyone, I'm sure the community appreciates your efforts!!
and @alphalas the DW Watchblade taskforce formation is basically "everything in the box" and the special rule is "Ceaseless Assault" which gives everyone Hit & Run if the Watch Master is still alive and if two units are locked in combat with the same enemy unit they pass the initiative test automatically to disengage.

Ok, so then that's my second idea - condense the squad to one selection of grey knight, where each grey knight has access to a melee list, like how I did SoB, then the justicar, which also has access to the melee list, and a third selection for a gk w/ special weapon, who has access to the melee and special weapon list.

I can tell that either it's still how I've set that up, or not much changed. Anyway, the reason is that BattleScribe still cannot collapse entries that have the same nested choice. The goal is to have preferably less nesting but most importantly, nicer output, so when taking 3 GK termies with swords, you end up with a line saying 3x Grey Knight Terminator w/ Nemesis sword instead of three separate lines each same with 1x at the beginning.

Of course staying true to the concept of model with wargear instead of tokenizing wargear besides models, of which the first I think most of us prefers.

AFAIK constraints won't help
it ain't pretty now, but can't get better while keeping nice output
also, a team of 10 would take much more space on mobile edit view

you mean for GK? it's the same 4 weapon options for all squads.(swords are the standard)
they ahave the option to select from the same list - GW has some strange love with making wargear lists now.

And also the basic point stands: those selections are incollapsible
Until Jon figures out a way to do that in BattleScribe automatically, we're stuck (or we'd have to sacrifice nice output)

@alphalas I don't know what file you've opened in Editor, but the one from current release has Melee linked in Entry Group
maybe Roster Editor uses another location than where your edit are?

They should be in the celestian entry, not the command squad general
Which is what that screengrab shows.
But when I open the roster editor, the melee options show at the squad level, not model level

I don't see what you are saying. That screen grab shows the link to the Melee Weapons entry group at the model level. The only thing at the squad level is melta bombs, and dedicated transports.

Looks fine on mobile. Melee options are on the model level and not the squad level.

I don't think I did anything to the Flyers
I spent most of my time moving squad level upgrades to model level upgrades, and fixing various unit entries.

Okay, I've downloaded current master, and the sororitas cat on master has Melee for SCS correctly under Celestine entry. @alphalas you have to be opening wrong file or something.

One problem I see is the celestians don't show their bolt pistol/bolter - I thought I included those but I might be wrong - I'll get it too
Also not automatically selecting grenades either - weird
