The 30k rules are in inferno. They release the 40k rules last year with the models.

yeah, idiot alarm. 30k rules != 40k rules

is that priest a unit in itself or just an upgrade to a unit?
Jon Kissinger
@alphalas
Mar 08 2017 12:21 UTC
It's a unit itself
zopha
@zopha
Mar 08 2017 12:22 UTC
Peltasts and Hoplites are units.
Dirk Bachert
@Thairne

then no checkboxes.
you don't add checkboxes for Chapter Masters because the CM usually gets attached to a unit.

Mar 08 2017 12:52 UTC
thing is, pretty much everyone told me to wait so far
and I'm inquiring if there's a change in curative chance if I wait
but it eats me up <.<

I hear you - we went through something similar with our cat that had hyperthyroidism
Dirk Bachert
@Thairne
Mar 08 2017 12:58 UTC
I had to google that.

@Thairne
Mar 08 2017 13:06 UTC
how did you decide? and were you happy with the decision?
Jon Kissinger
@alphalas
Mar 08 2017 13:15 UTC
With her we took her for a diagnosis short after she went from being a giant marshmallow of a cat to being skinny - she was also diarrheal and it was getting to the point where she wouldn't make it to the litter box. There was a pill the doc gave us to try to get it under control. The next steps after that were a constant topical application and intermittent shots, if still no favorable response surgery. She didn't respond at all to the pills, and was still visibly deteriorating. Part of our decision was driven by financial, but part was also just to stop dragging it out for her
Dirk Bachert
@Thairne
Mar 08 2017 13:16 UTC
so you sent her to sleep...
That is a bit different, but I see
Jon Kissinger
@alphalas
Mar 08 2017 13:17 UTC
Similar but different yes
Dirk Bachert
@Thairne
Mar 08 2017 13:17 UTC
I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Surgery now - x% of getting it, waiting if something happens then surgery - y% of getting it. if x >> y, then surgery, else wait.
Jon Kissinger
@alphalas
Mar 08 2017 13:18 UTC
Yeah, agreed
That's likely what I would do in your situation
Other difference in my case is our cat was already 14. Yours is young
Dirk Bachert
@Thairne
Mar 08 2017 13:19 UTC
thats like 4:1 for the waiting crowd. Vet said from a medical standpoint surgery would be better, but she understands and does not object to waiting. But she's not the expert.
so rather a 4:0.5
