There is that, I meant that leviathan dread they shared the other day had standard load out included and then weapon options extra, I don't know if the Lord of Skulls fits into the same category as that at present - how many wargear options does it have at present?
three different weapons I believe. But it's possible the gear they are equipped with still costs. For instance, Warp Talons are 15 pts per model, Raptors are 17.
CSM are 13. Warp Talons have twin lightning claws and jump packs.
Well that comes back to the question if the new jump primaris jump dudes have to pay 7 per assault bolter and have 2 per, or if they only pay one, if they can fire both, and so on...
It was already confirmed that the Inceptor Primaris models shoot with both assault bolters. As far as most units go, seems to me you pay the cost for the models, then add the costs for the weapons and other gear they are carrying.
With weapons looking to be standard points across the board (all power swords 4 pts for instance) we can do shared entries in GST like we have the profiles and just include point cost. Hooray for less bloat!
interesting that the plasma cannon slays the model, but the twin plasma cannon deals a mortal wound. guess no one could carry around twin plasma cannons :P
also there is a heavy plasma cannon and plasma cannon...
@FarseerVeraenthis go to the branch and download the GST. You'll need to make a new folder, just copy the naming schematic for 7th but name the folder 8th.
You can dl Chaos Index.CAT if you want to see how I'm using it
My oh my, T'au support systems are crazy. 8pts for -1 AP on all model's weapons
target lock is now kind of old Stabilizers, but actually damn they got the rules on point with system names :o 8th Ed is looking to be amazingly amazing.
I have to wonder WTF some people are smoking... bitching that a land raider suffers in movement after losing ONLY half its wounds... It starts with 16. If you beat the crap out of a vehicle to where it was halfway to being inoperable, do you think it will run like a dream?
It looks like big things aren't going to be theatened by small arms fire much. You need specialty antitank to threaten rowboat or a knight or a landraider.
like, can't shoot at character unless it's the closest visible target. But maybe they intended to say closest eligable target. one visible unit in close combat prevented me from shooting at a character who was the closest eligable target.
I've changed it to T'au Empire. Takes a bit to get used to spelling it that way myself. Also, just out of curiosity - what's the convention for profiles and rules that only get used in one selection entry? I've seen differing approaches from multiple files. Some still place them in Shared Rules and Shared Profiles, others move them from there to just under the specific selection entry.
I put as much as possible shared and link to it. My stance is that there could be something later on down the line that also uses item X so I like to save future me the hassle
