The Smite beta change doesnt impact me much cos I tend to play my DG and not cast smite much; but it certainly buggers TS and GK. They could do as suggested above or just allow the almost-psykers to select 1 spell like they could in 7th
I moaned about mortal wounds when they first announced they were going to be a thing. My gripe was that they removed D weapons because people didn't like weapons they had no defence against... then they put mortal wounds in.
and it was OK in the context of armies not having many ways to deal mortal wounds but then they went with mortal wounds being the way they add power to all the armies in the strats/special rules etc. when they get codexes.
They could just remove em for me like; but they would then need to change other stuff to speed the game back up
the increased game speed that they reckoned would come with 8th never actually happened, its as slow as ever in most cases and thats with mortal wounds; remove em and it slows down more
i also dont like ap values of -4 or better being a thing
and tbh, i just wish they would make cover like it was in7th
nah dont ship yet i figured it's less risky and less work to merge the point changes and then work on that basis than doing it the other way around I wont get done tonight (it'S close to 22 pm), but give me about 12-16h (sleep and some time to work on the dex with actual dual monitors) and we can probably :shipit:
im working on it currently, but my workplace has just the nicer setup :P
