@ilaunchbury I don't think I'll be able to do all of the R&H. I'll have to read the codex a bit more. I might try for more sometime next week. I at least have a patch ready for the autocannon, meltagun, and plasma gun though. Do I need to submit a request to make a branch, or should I just add the .patch file to an issue?
@WindstormSCR indeed. The people that recommended it to me in the first place are (like me) also all pen and paper RPG-ers
I was lamenting the state of modern RPGs -- there weren't any -- they'd all become some FPS abomination (alas, poor Fallout, you were so amazing, and now you're unplayable)
I brought this up in a group
It was so funny, they all looked at each other and almost as one looked at me and said, "Divinity Original Sin 2"

I dearly LOVE the fact that there's a Narrator, and how your responses are presented as RPG choices -- it really drives home the "You're role-playing" feeling. This game fills the hole left by Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights.
I assume this would confer to "Tzeentch Daemons" from other Detachments, I.E. Magnus or Daemon Princes from a Thousand Sons detachment (assuming they stand within 6 inches of a character from the Daemons detachment)
people are already considering reductions in ability to hit a major problem with the game, that just feels like doubling down on bad design because you can't even use your own positive modifiers to counter it. it's just "you fail, haha"
