I think I need to make smaller dots (I wasn't sure how big to make them) and the brush I used was an oil point filbert brush with stiff and thick bristles...so...that made the streaks kind of...crude, maybe?

Custodes for example are fully validated but don't overwrite, Craftworld Eldar are fully validated but DO overwrite.
I believe the AM relics were recently given regiment validation but not base gear validation
so that's on @alphalas if he wants to leave as-is, validate/replace or validate/non-replace
if we decide to create a standard, my recommendation is to validate but not replace, as it allows list building planning without leaving out information in the event of a switch

I'm not worried about the box at all. I play admech and necrons ... 2 boxes of those? Done. That's another 10 immortals, 10 praetorians, 6 wraiths, and 2 awesome crypteks. and 20 more rangers? done.
We'll see how the necron dex plays out, my imperium stuff doesn't need much to be 'complete' and necrons could be fun

heck I could have them painted according to my Crucible of Wrath and Mars Ascendand Knights... to match the babies to the biggies...
If I can ever find suitable sitting posed knight figures I may still paint mine as 3 Lords of Cinder and their knights.

I still feel like softening things up with the hammer head and it's ability to wound, then finishing it off with easier wounds from a ton of fire warriors would end up being a better use of CP some games; esp for 3 cp
