While I'm picking through issues, shall we finally give a full Y/N to #2709?

While I don't agree with add everything if anything is in doubt, no choice should generate errors, yes.

@Kohato that thing about rules-laywering pretty much exists so we can tell people to sod off if they get nitpicky about designer commentary implementations

so many guardians to paint when starting from nothing...so...many...
WindstormSCR
@WindstormSCR
Apr 21 2018 05:03
why so many?
most you'll realistically use is 40

when you have 0, 40 is many

debating on how i want to base the wraithblades (axe/shield) at this point- flat base with texture or do some cork and water effects...
but first: MAGNETS!

actually
for the weapon platforms you shouldn't need them
the guns fit pretty nicely with just paint
if you really want them on more firmly use paperclip pins
for wraithguard/blades... if you hate the axes (like me) just mag the shield arm only
ah
so a thing
for vehicles
I never measured the exact weight
but
you can get some tin/bismuth/silver pipe solder, and hammer it flat-ish
and put it in the tip of the forks for falcons/fireprisms/nightspinners
then you can spin the turret without it imbalancing
can aim my fireprism turrets backwards without them wanting to tilt back
other thing:
if you're using jetbikes and hover tanks, and you plan to paint/base the clear bottoms anyway
consider replacing them entirely with a standard 32mm or 60mm base

reason being is that they'll sit on most surfaces considerably better, since the standard bases aren't completely flat-bottomed
example GW's ruins kits, with all the skulls and stuff molded onto the flooring
32mms sit over those just fine, but flat bike bases tilt at odd angles
I'm seriously considering redoing all of my flying bases (40+ of them) because of that
@tekton hopefully you're not too far in that the above stuff helps

As far as bases go: http://www.corseceng.com/ i'm starting to use those for anything flying, hovering, etc
and i meant magnets for the wraithguard/blades...just in case. Sadly one of my weapon platforms for the guardians I may need to as the mold is a little, shall we say, warped

@WindstormSCR I actually saw a really cool method of mounting falcons/serps to bases using 3 magnex bars instead of the single flight stand

Seeing that makes me appreciate that armigers look better with their torsos backwards and the head mounted where the mechanicus icon is
