Anyone know who
Is supporting the Necromunda files?
It looks to be crazy small team?
And they don’t appear to have a Gitter chat ...

@OftKilted from the github repo page it looks like there are only 3 contributors: https://github.com/BSData/necromunda-gang-war/graphs/contributors
and @alphalas that's pretty cool, my wife doesn't have the patience to paint miniatures

Hey, just wondering, did anybody see this? Is that going into notifications or wherever? https://github.com/orgs/BSData/teams/data-authors-wh40k/discussions

No, gang war only.

And renaming repos is bad right?
Because I’d suggest killing underhive, and renaming gang war underhive
Because technically the game is called necromunda underhive if I member correctly

Actually, I'm not sure myself. There are all the variations on their page.

Just like shadespire is actually warhammer underworld: shadespire
That makes it more complicated, obviously
I was hoping that was just a clear-cut one is old and not updated, the other isn’t.

In that aspect, I think Gang War is actually superset.
In terms of GW's naming, I have no idea.

Gang war is just what they’re calling the necro GHB/ChapApp I think
Just like death zone for blood bowl

So I think ideally, we just move the current Gang War files to Underhive repo and make a redirect from Gang War repo,.

Part of the issue may be that (unless it's been FAQed) point values and weapon choices are different between the base game and the "Gang War" campaign game.

I know how to do redirects, but I have yet to contact Jon how to push changes.
Oooh.

@amis92 The difference between the "Gang War" version and the "Underhive" version is that one is configured for the board game (Underhive) and 'Gang War' is configured for a Campaign setting.

"The rules included with the Necromunda: Underhive boxed game cover battles set in the claustrophobic tunnels beneath the hives – but gangs also clash above ground, amid sprawling machinery that fills vast domes from ground to ceiling. Necromunda: Gang War is a set of rules that allow the players to use 3D terrain in their games, bringing a literal new dimension to their battles – and also an incredibly detailed campaign system, in which 2-6 (or more!) players develop their gangs, fight for territory and dominate the other Houses."

So, 'Underhive' is technically up to date. (As the boxed game didn't ever get any updates.) And it looks like @Mad-Spy is completely on point with the difference being points between the base 'Esher v.s. Goliaths' and the Gang Wars campaign setup.
