Hijacking topic: is there anything in the movement and/or terrain rules that say if it's a non infantry MODEL or it's BASE that need to be able to fit through a "doorway" (or between buildings like an alley) to move in/through/by a piece of terrain?
@tekton - the rules says INFANTRY can move through ruins without impediment .. it then goes on to say precisely sod all what impediment every other model suffers ... so Useful. .. so for tanks and such we generally say that large walls are impassible (but that's just house rules) and TITANIC can go where the hell it wants apart from up steps lol
fortunately ... 8th made our guard player quit .... closest we have is a few R&H ... and they don't got toys
@WindstormSCR - So ... The player in question loves his tank parking lots ... and in the early days he could not get his head around screening vs CC armies.
So unless he alpha struck someone off the table first turn he was suddenly overrun and unable to move his parking lot and lost a LOT.
and got very upset when losing even a mortar squad.
The rest of us did not mourn the loss of such a player, it was impossible to have a fun time by either throwing a game for his enjoyment or taking no enjoyment from winning against a poor player .
