Maybe you don't need type=symfony_bundle
I don't have that and I keep my stuff in /features as normal

Using "paths" fix the problem :)

Well you can use the Context interface without that, and it all works
I'm not actually sure what the 'type' does ;-P

The 'type' is about loading features from inside the bundle, with the convention defined previously in the extension for Behat 2.x
if you don't have your features inside the bundle, you don't need the special type
