on gab you cant post cp or you won't get investigated
okay, have a good night

Gab is still a US company
held by US law
mindphuq
@maniac0s
right
Joshua J. Bouw
@JoshuaJBouw_twitter
They just don't allow themselves to be pressured by groups to remove things
Unless it actually breaks the law

IPFS would also need a way for notes to reject content
so if someone posts cp IPFS nodes could say "yeah, not on my node gtfo"
gab and everyone is still centralized and if the company gets bought by someone they can again decide what they want and what not, delete accounts ect.

Yes... Voluntary
Known illicit content.

the problem is with the nothing at stake. so PoS needs something at stake, a value. another proposal was punishment of malicious nodes

  • not a problem

I mean you fork a coin, bring it to exchanges and you have like money from thin air. this is shit.

  • not a problem

like, implement a torrent like p2p system on blackcoin. Use IPFS as a file storage and the blockchain for finding content (no central servers needed).

  • I agree. Make dynamic pages with indelible record using Blockchian.

There needs to be channels of IPFS

  • keypoint - also for blockchains

gab.com - isn't that just a place for biggots? What interests you there?

I'm fully on board with the research project approach.
That's been my feel the whole time.
Keeping BLK the simplest PoS possible is good.

Great to hear about Adam Back chats, and your ideas. :)

So, the next PoS would either need to be a step up
Or, different

I did renew my ProtonMail visionary account, was thinking of downsizing it
So I can start dishing out accounts or share the info@blackcoin.org

Hm
I made a note that the software is now discontinued for old Blackcoin
I don't know about that issue though.
Probably trying to build it with a more recent leveldb

I had responded though
I think his dependencies are wrong

looking for MacOS user to test binaries!
Zaphod101010
@Zaphod101010
I can test on mac. what needs testing?
Michel van Kessel
@michelvankessel
basic stuff, like send receive, stake, check log for warnings/errors, etc... this can be done on testnet
or you may compile yourself
if you need some testnet funds, just send me your testnet address
please test both blackcoind and blackcoin-qt (run with -testnet parameter)
Zaphod101010
@Zaphod101010
sounds good. I’m going to try compiling from source. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Michel van Kessel
@michelvankessel
