    @wvangeit
    could you try and see if that one works ?
    TeresaGB
    @TeresaGB
    Yes, now I'm downloading it...ok!
    then, I can forget about the VM from FENS2016?
    Werner Van Geit
    @wvangeit
    yes, indeed
    TeresaGB
    @TeresaGB
    OK, THANKS!
    hope to have good news in a while ;-)

    @TeresaGB
    Sorry Werner, but I'll take advantage of your help...It is the first time that I'm using Virtual Machines and all this. I've installed the VirtualBox 5.1.10 and its extension pack. Then I've downloaded the SDK, but once I got the folder, I don't know how to proceed...Some advice on that? Thanks again!
    Werner Van Geit
    @wvangeit
    np
    what do you mean with 'the SDK' ?
    TeresaGB
    @TeresaGB
    VirtualBox 5.1.10 Software Developer Kit (SDK)
    Werner Van Geit
    @wvangeit
    let me check, but I don't think you need that
    it's ok if you just install Virtualbox
    TeresaGB
    @TeresaGB
    ok
    Werner Van Geit
    @wvangeit
    don't think it's even necessary to install the extensions
    TeresaGB
    @TeresaGB
    thanks!
    Werner Van Geit
    @wvangeit
    I'll mention that in our instructions
    TeresaGB
    @TeresaGB
    great
    Werner Van Geit
    @wvangeit
    the instruction page has been updated

    @TeresaGB
    thanks a lot
    Werner Van Geit
    @wvangeit
    ok, it looks like your processor doesn't support 64 bit
    TeresaGB
    @TeresaGB
    something I can do?
    Werner Van Geit
    @wvangeit
    well, I can build a 32 bit version of the VM
    but this will take a bit of time
    is it ok if I let you know something by tomorrow evening ?
    TeresaGB
    @TeresaGB
    :-S sorry for that
    for sure!
    Werner Van Geit
    @wvangeit

    TeresaGB
    @TeresaGB
    np
    Werner Van Geit
    @wvangeit
    ah but wait
    actually you processor also doesn't support VT-x (virtualization technology)
    will have to see if I can bypass that
    TeresaGB
    @TeresaGB
    ok, please let me know
    or whether you need something from my side
    Werner Van Geit
    @wvangeit
    it looks like I can disable VT-x in the VM too
    it will only slow things down
    TeresaGB
    @TeresaGB
    ok
    TeresaGB
    @TeresaGB
    Thanks Werner! I'll connect again tomorrow to see any updates
    Werner Van Geit
    @wvangeit
    It has 32bit in it's name. Could you try that VM ?
    Sarwat Fatima
    @sarwatfatimam
    Hi, I just booted the hbp2016 VM. However, when I power on, I get the following error. VT-x is disabled in the BIOS for all CPU modes (VERR_VMX_MSR_ALL_VMX_DISABLED).
    Result Code:
    E_FAIL (0x80004005)
    Component:
    ConsoleWrap
    Interface:
    IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}
    Oh, I just read its the same error as above. Sorry. But my computer is 64 bit.
