    Perhaps, let’s take this over to the J5 Gitter so these nice people can get back to building robots :smile:
    David Resseguie
    @Resseguie
    The internal SERVOS array will grow, but if you do a new five.Servos() does it a SERVOS.slice() so I think it's returning an instance of the servos initialized at that time.
    @dtex +1 Thanks @hoodja for good questions. These will help us flesh out the lib and docs.

    Thanks for being here to help!

    David Resseguie
    @Resseguie
    @hoodja confirmed: using new five.Servos() or new five.Servo.Array() returns a static snapshot.

    So I am working on using a MAX7219 to drive a set of 4 8 segment LEDs.
    digits = new five.Led.Digits({
    pins: { data: 2, clock: 3, cs: 4 }
    });

    digits.on()
    digits.draw(0,"8.") // does not seem to work.....

    So, I can get it to do the test display with a
    digits.send(0,0xFF,0xFF) but I cannot seem to get anything other than all on or all off.
    Rick Waldron
    @rwaldron
    @gregory-j-weaver can you post a picture of your circuit? That Led.Digits code has been tested pretty thoroughly
    (That’s not to say that there is no such thing as bugs)
    Hm. Something occurs to me. You only have 4 digits?
    Led.Digits and Led.Matrix assume that you’ll have 8 (the internal memory is 8x8)
    Let me wire up on this end (if I can find all the stuff)
    Rick Waldron
    @rwaldron
    @gregory-j-weaver I need to go grab some food. I just tried the led-digits-clock example program and it worked as expected.
    Also tried your code above, this works as well
    Greg Weaver
    @gregory-j-weaver
    Hmmmm...If I disconnect the Load wire from pin 4 it then does the display.
    Actually it seems to work if I disconnect the CS and the LOAD both.

    @gregory-j-weaver
    I will work on this in the next week, I am sure I am doing it wrong. :D

    @rwaldron
    I suspect there is a wiring issue there 0_o

    Pin Error: 12 is not a valid PWM pin (Led) anyone?
    Joel Evan Howard
    @joelhoward0
    Anyone in here have a miniUSB cable they could spare for us?
    David Resseguie
    @Resseguie
    @jrgleason did you get your PWM issue figured out? Pulse Width Modulation is required for fading an LED and only some pins on the Arduino support it (and 12 doesn't, at least for the UNO). Look for ones with ~ beside the pin number.
    Brian Genisio
    @BrianGenisio
    @Resseguie Yes, he did. Thanks!

    The line racer time trials will open at 2PM.
    NodeBot battles will start at 3:30. 24 teams, double elimination, 2 arenas in parallel.

    @rwaldron Here's video of people hacking yesterday. I don't have videos of the battles yet, but they're coming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhRXkk_Q6J4

    @doowb
    Hey all... I got home and tried the reference bot just to make sure it was all still working and when I start it up, the wheels start moving and won't stop until I reset the board. Any ideas on where I can start troubleshooting? Could something of been screwed up on the board, or in the servos from either cold or being transported incorrectly? Thanks for any help.
    Brian Genisio
    @BrianGenisio
    Did you try calibrating with the screws on the servos?
