exclude files doesn’t work
is there any workaround?
files: [
    src + '/**/*.pug',
    '!' + src + '/**/*.jspm.js',
    src + '/**/*.js',
    src + '/**/*.css'
],

Hi all, I'm trying to set up browser-sync using Gulp. I'm using a vhost as my proxy, running my watch task, browser-sync fires up its server, but it can't find any static content (like css files etc).
gulp.task('watch', function(callback) {
  browserSync.init({
    proxy: "dev.myvhost.com"
  });

  // ...watch tasks
});

@aarongerig
@jdreg95 Personally, I would split up the server and the watch task like so:
gulp.task('server', function(callback) {
    browserSync.init({
        proxy: "dev.myvhost.com"
    });
});

gulp.task('watch', function(callback) {
    gulp.watch(['path/to/css/**/*.css']).on('change', gulp.series('styles', browserSync.reload));
});

@aarongerig I did that now, though, my CSS isn't being injected into the page :(
While running .pipe(browserSync.stream()) after .pipe(gulp.dest())

Anyone know why that could be? (Full reloads work, so does syncing across different machines)

Hi everyone, I am trying to use this recipe https://github.com/Browsersync/recipes/tree/master/recipes/webpack.react-hot-loader for vue.js hmr . All is working but one thing when hmr fails it gives me the following message "The following modules couldn't be hot updated: (Full reload needed)". How can I get full page reload in such case to be automatic?

How do you test multiple browsers simultaneously? I still don't get why browser-sync can benefit browser automation test?
Joshua Austill
@jlaustill
@viewplatgh Once it's up and running, you can simply open the url in many browsers.

I just tried to use the bs-html-injector plugin and it seems quite buggy. Has anyone here gotten it to work at all?

Hello everyone. I have a question. How do I enable CORS when using the browserSync API?
I want to use a chrome extension that does some external requests but it's currently being blocked by BrowserSync
Konstantin Tarkus
@koistya
@thaenor there is CORS related flag, see Browsersync docs > options > cors

I've looked into that. So I need to do is add a cors:true in the server object passed in?
Because I did that and it didn't work

Hi. I have a setup with gulp + browsersync (proxy) + apache / localhost (and PHP/symfony app)
browsersync seems to be initiating correctly, and i can open the url in safari
but in firefox + chrome, the request is stuck loading.. infinitely
this is on macos. Anyone an idea how to find/fix the problem ?
Ghost
@ghost~54db391f15522ed4b3dbe23d
is there a way to check if the cors is enabled?
erikbaan
@erikbaan
in my logs, i can see the request to my PHP app is received successfully, and the response is generated correctly. but never the less firefox/chrome are stuck loading forever

I'm curious about this as well, my entire site uses CORS for the api(it lives on a different server/domain) and I have had zero problems using browser-sync. So if it's going to bite me for some reason it would be good to know ahead of time :)
