    Am I doing something wrong again?
    Alex Fanat
    @TheFanatr
    I found out something you might find interesting.
    I got buttons inside the tabitem headers to work but the only way to do it is to right click the header where the button is, then click and everything will execute as expected.

    Hi all, I'm new to Dragblz. I wanna add close button in tabs inside QuickStartWindow. I set the ShowDefaultCloseButton to true but I can't see the close button. May I know how to do that? thx a lot

    Hi. Carrying the example of a clean implementation of MVVM. Whatever the individual view is a separate tab (window)?

    I am replicating the restore layout functionality from the Doobry application. But i hit a roadblock when trying to restore branches. For some reason, it is unable to find the initial TabablzControl. An exception is thrown in the Finder.Find(TabablzControl) method - because the Layout.GetLoadedInstances, returns nothing. So i get a LocationReportException("Instance not within any layout."). I have the working doobry application, and my broken implementation side by side, and i just can't seem to figure out the difference that makes this fail. Any ideas? :)

    Oh.. I has set the LifeTimeAssist.RunOnLoad on the window element.. It should be set on the Layout Element. Now it executes the StartupCommand when the layout has loaded instead of the window :)

    @harry-the-black-smith make sure you have the correct style set as per demo

    I have a tabViewModel that has a Parent property. This property is updated from the Observable OnChanged event, so that the parent is updated to whatever MainViewModel the tab is dragged to. But when docking/branching the tab in a window, it seems to not run the onchanged event in the observable collection. So I am trying to set the Parent property using the DragablzItem.DragCompleted, but I am having a hard time accessing the actual tabviewmodel from that event. All i can see is a UnderlyingContent that contains the tabViewModel instance, but that property is internal. Is there a way to do this using this event, or am i looking in the wrong place?
    Malte Baden Hansen
    @Moulde
    I was unable to keep the Parent property of my tabViewModels referenced to the WindowViewmodel, so instead i changed it so that when i want to open a dialog, i go throught the Loaded layout instances using Layout.GetLoadedInstances, and then finds the layoutinstance where my viewmodel is a child. Then i find the window in which the layout instance is located. Then i have the window, which has a datacontext, which has the DialogIdentifier property. Then i use the dialogHost to open the dialog.

    Is there any way to allow tearing out tabs, but disabling branching of the layout?

    How to set Tabs with an expanded More dropdown menu
    Hektorrr
    @Hektorrr

    Hi!
    I think there might be a bug inside Dragablz. Very quick to reproduce with Dragablz sample.
    Step to reproduce (can be reproduced with Dragablz Samples):

    1. Place Break Point inside Dragablz.net45->DefaultInterTabClient.INewTabHost
    2. Start BoundExample sample
    3. Drag one tab and dock it in on the right
    4. Undock this tab.
    5. -> The break point will be hit. ( and I think that's the bug ).
      Even if we've got our custom InterTabClient the DefaultInterTabClient is called.

    I will try to resolve that on my own but maybe someone already experienced this and has solution already - would be great!

    Could actually be a demo bug...
    Hektorrr
    @Hektorrr
    It's not visible problem when you are using TabablzControl directly inside a Window but when you put it inside an UserControl then it's impossible to undock the tabs. I was looking into this yesterday, unfortunately I didn't found any solution cause it's so massive project :)
    I've also wanted to compare the Doobry project to see if there are any differences in implementation but didn't have too much time to finish that.
    I will continue looking into that today evening.
    James Willock
    @ButchersBoy
    Doobry uses a static InterTabCl'. This resolves any data context issues.
    Hektorrr
    @Hektorrr
    Thanks! I was just about to tell you that I used static InterTabClient and it helped! Works great now! :)

    Sorry to bother you with this James. I'm trying to put a badge in the header of a TabItem. I'm putting custom content in the TabItem.Header property but my TextBlock does not inherit the same look as used by the default style. Do you know where I should look to figure out how to make my style look the same as the default TabItem header?
    Hangon, might be the Medium FontWeight that is missing

    Seemed to do the trick

    Does TabablzControl use the TabItem.HeaderTemplate at all? TabablzIControl.HeaderItempTemplate works for me but not the TabItem.HeaderTemplate
    James Willock
    @ButchersBoy
    @mgnslndh i cant quite remember now, but yeah, one of the templates is not quite what you think it is.... So probably that one (haven't got code in front of me)

    Hey everyone, I'm trying to disable tab tearing, and I know it's been asked at least 5 times before, I know I just have to stop using InterTabController but I'm extremely new to WPF. What do I replace it with? I'm working from the BoundExampleDemo and I have almost all InterTabController stuff removed except for this part: "<!-- a root, named tab control is needed..." (I'm surprised it still works at all at this point?)
    http://i.imgur.com/Ar0PrYu.png
    I tried removing all 5 of those lines, just the middle 3, just the very middle one. But as soon as I do I either crash or the layout doesn't display at all.
    Riley Labrecque
    @rlabrecque
    Oh, nevermind, replacing the layout with a grid actually did the trick (I didn't need floating windows either)

    Does Dragablz support tear-off panels? Tried to emulate with a single tab, cut it can't be torn out of the window.
    James Willock
    @ButchersBoy
    How do you mean?
    John
    @JVimes
    I want a side panel that can be pulled out of the main window and placed on a second monitor. There won't be multiple tabs in its area, just a panel.
    And then drag-and-dropped back to it's place on the side of the window.
    James Willock
    @ButchersBoy
    Well, this isn't a typical docking library... It's a tab control...
    John
    @JVimes
    Right. Just asking if it can be done :)

    I want to make a tab control like this, how can I do that?
    tbone897
    @tbone897
    when switching tabs, how do I get the currently selected tab? Tried using tabablzControl_SelectionChanged event and getting the active tab Object selectedTab = tabablzControl.SelectedContent;
    but I always get the previous selected tab, the tabablzControl_SelectionChanged event is firing before the tab changes. any ideas?
    Talha Talip Açıkgöz
    @Talha-T
    this is probably the worst way but, maybe wait for a period then get selectedtab?
    but as I said, this is probably the worst way
