Could you*
Derrick Berg
@derrickberg-dev
yeah i could put it on github
I doubt its anything with MaterialDesign's xaml code or anything, its probably the way im trying to call the copy to clipboard method
Either that or its because im on vs2017 using .NET Frmwrk 4.6.1

this is what my card looks like
                <materialDesign:Card materialDesign:ShadowAssist.ShadowDepth="Depth3" Padding="32" Margin="16" Width="Auto" Height="Auto" >
                    <ItemsControl ItemsSource="{Binding Items2}" Grid.IsSharedSizeScope="True">
                        <ItemsControl.ItemTemplate>
                            <DataTemplate DataType="{x:Type local:SelectableViewModel}">
                                <Border x:Name="Border" Padding="10" BorderThickness="0 0 0 1" BorderBrush="{DynamicResource MaterialDesignDivider}">

                                        </Button>

                </materialDesign:Card>
I thought the command on the button would only trigger on clicks but it looks like its running the method multiple times when the button has only been clicked once

@derrickberg-dev I think something else is wrong, code runs perfect here
little disclaimer, I'm running this on VS 2019 and .NET 5.0
but the exception you're getting has something to do with WPF and the Interop namespace. Are you using any c(++) DLL assemblies in your code?

I'm working on a Leadingicon for the Button control and it's working fine in runtime, but the XAML designer is showing me strange behavior. I guess it has something to do with me overriding the ContentTemplate
image.png
This is in runtime (don't mind the Flat and Outlined style, it's still a WIP)
In the XAML designer, I get this
image.png
So it seems like the designer can't resolve the Icon and the visibility property I have set on the button
any thoughts?
<wpf:PackIcon
    x:Name="LeadingIcon"
    Margin="0 0 8 0"
    Kind="{Binding Path=(wpf:ButtonAssist.LeadingIcon), RelativeSource={RelativeSource FindAncestor, AncestorType={x:Type Button}}}"
    Visibility="{Binding Path=(wpf:ButtonAssist.HasLeadingIcon), RelativeSource={RelativeSource FindAncestor, AncestorType={x:Type Button}}, Converter={StaticResource BooleanToVisibilityConverter}}"
    VerticalAlignment="{TemplateBinding VerticalAlignment}" />
code from inside the DataTemplate of the ContentTemplate setter
Kevin B
@Keboo
@MichelMichels send like the designer is possibly loading (or holding onto) an older version. Normally when I have seen designer issues with the pack icon it simply does not sure. But the fact it is showing the wrong icon is a little odd
Michel Michels
@MichelMichels
@Keboo yes, it is showing the "Abacus" PackIcon, which is the first one

Hello, I've noticed that the DialogHost adjusts itself upwards in the presence of an onscreen keyboard. This is great! However, it only does it when the app is NOT maximized. How can I make it do so also when maximized?
Amrani
@AmraniRiyad
It is not related to MaterialDesign but if someone can give some light on this one please ? : https://stackoverflow.com/questions/65864630/form-with-validation-of-models-wrapped-in-viewmodels-with-one-to-many-relation

Hi, maybe some margin (DialogMargin ?) is preventing it from moving?

@GnahZn1x
Hello, is there a way to override the background of "SelectedBorder" in "MaterialDesignListBoxItem" style?
Mikael Silvén
@silven
@AmraniRiyad I am not aware of any DialogMargin. But it works in windowed mode :/

Hello, I'm using materialDesign:DataGridComboBoxColumn but combobox arrow on the DataGrid doesn't shown, i've written another project, i have used it in there and it works fine, this code is copy, nuget packages, files, styles are the same, but this DataGridComboBoxColumn is not working, tell me reason pls

@alphabet1201
hello, "IsIndeterminate" option value of component named UniqueKey="progress_2" need to be change to false.
because if that option was true, that make a 'Material Design Demo' run slow in on 'Progress Indicator' Tab

How do I change the burger icon for the Style = MaterialDesignHamburgerToggleButton? For some reason it is a different size? The middle line is bigger than the top and bottom lol
iDanny
@iDanny07
<ToggleButton
     Margin="24,0,0,0"
     x:Name="LeftMenuToggleButton"
     AutomationProperties.Name="HamburgerToggleButton"
     IsChecked="False"
     Style="{StaticResource MaterialDesignHamburgerToggleButton}" />
image.png
In VS it looks normal lol
Kevin B
@Keboo
@alizeynalli_gitlab we would need to see your project to tell. It is difficult to know what the problem is just from that description.
Kevin B
@Keboo
@alphabet1201 Thanks for the heads up. you are correct that indeterminate progress bar can slow down an application due to their constant animation, however in this case that progress bar is meant to show off how an indeterminate progress bar looks. To address the performance of it, I did adjust the size of containing grid as that was also contributing to the slowness.
@iDanny07 possibly a layout rounding issue? I would try setting UseLayoutRounding ="True" on your window
iDanny
@iDanny07
image.png
@Keboo No that did not help.
Also how would I be able to change the size of the PopupBox icon? (3 vertical dots)
I tried width and height on it but it only changed the container not the icon

@pablokentch

I am having a problem with the github version of the material with caret, if I create a TextBox that saves the text of my application, when my application opens with the text in the TextBox the caret is shown at the beginning of the TextBox.

Example that happened to someone else who posted on github

https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/6760578/68993344-f0c69080-08b1-11ea-9aec-a7a5c550fd40.gif

@Keboo
@iDanny07 there is a property on the PopupBox called ToggleContent that can be set to any content that you like. The default is just a PackIcon with Kind="DotsVertical" and a size of 24x24. So if you want to change the size simply set your own PackIcon with your desired size. You can see an example of setting the ToggleContent here.

@Keboo
@pablokentch that appears to be the outstanding bug #1519. Currently there is not a fix for it.

Good morning, I was wondering if there's a setting to fix the following issue with Snackbar? I'm limited to a very tight space and it looks like Snackbar is hardcoded to minimum width
image.png
ActionButtonPlacement="Auto" or "SeparateLine" doesn't fix the truncation. Thank you
Federico Rossi
@artipo
@Keboo I've looked into the #1519 and I think I've found the cause of the bug.
It all boils down to VerticalContentAlignment being set to Top inside TextBox styles.
There's also the ControlTemplate trigger that occur when TextFieldAssist.HasOutlinedTextFieldthat set VerticalContentAlignment to Top.
I would submit a PR to solve this but I fear that setting VerticalContentAlignment to Stretch would cause unwanted behaviour and/or style appearance.
Anyway I'll attach an image showing that with VerticalContentAlignment being set to Top, the underlying TextBoxView doesn't use the entire available vertical space. Since that control is responsible for the CaretIndex change, missing the HitTest cause the use of default CaretIndex position, which is 0.

Hello, I am trying to override "TextFieldCornerRadius" of "MaterialDesignOutlinedComboBox" and I am able to see the change in VS Designer of the user control. But in the designer of the mainwindow and runtime, it fell back to the default style. Really appreciated if you can provide some pointers.
