    I don't mean to be pushy and I appreciate that there are 250+ proposals. It'd be great to have a rough idea of when I might receive feedback/verdict so that I can plan accordingly.

    Hi @pradyunsg
    Proposal screening (the first round where we check proposal completeness) is finishing up, and tech-review has started on some categories. Our final announcement date is 1st Sep, but we'll inform the confirmed speakers a week of so before.

    Hi! I received feedback from you on my proposal https://in.pycon.org/cfp/2019/proposals/model-and-dataset-versioning-practices-using-dvc-tool~ej1zd/. By when do you expect the changes so that you can start reviewing it for the second round?
    Abhishek
    @h6165_twitter
    Hi @algomaster99, end of this month (wed) is the soft deadline. You can add content after that too, but we'll add the proposal to the back of a queue. Reviews have already started

    Hello! I have made the requested changes which were about updating the PPT and giving a rough outline. Please add it to the queue of second-round reviews. Note that the powerpoint presentation is currently in progress since the outline of our talk is tentative but it won't deviate much from the one proposed currently.
    I have also added links to some of the previous talks in PyCon 2019 and PyData 2018 in the 'Content URLs' section. Please see them too!
    Thanks!

    That's great! I have been trying to contact them too! I will be more than eager to talk to them, and see how we can engage them.

    They can write to my email address mentioned above.

    Hi @h6165_twitter I am not sure, I have enough time to organize my trip from Europe and invite our devs to help with the dev sprint. Also prices are increasing. Any chance to let me know if my sessions and dev sprint gets accepted soon?
    Abhishek
    @h6165_twitter
    Hi @mariobehling (sorry for the delayed response), the reviews are going on, but its hard to say anything about the talks right now. You can consider your dev sprint session confirmed, and plan your travel accordingly.

    So there are 33 proposals selected out of 250?
    Harsh mishra
    @harsh199910
    @h6165_twitter , I am very disappointed to tell you that, I haven't received any reviews message during the proposal evaluation, and I guess there was very Bayes decision.
    Hemant Rakesh
    @Hemantr05
    On what basis were the task evaluated?
    Abhishek
    @h6165_twitter
    @Hemantr05 @harsh199910 we'll share details of the review process soon as a blog post. Tech reviewers didn't post reviews on all talks, they did that when they needed more info or had suggestions.
    @abdulwahid24 33 out of 250+33
