i just read forum >> In this case, support is a function of hardware - The model A connects the external USB port directly to the Broadcom chip (which supports USB OTG), while the model B or 2/3 use an external USB host chip to drive multiple ports, and does not support OTG.

No software workaround possible, sorry

@Rafiot
I wasn't in front of my computer.
I successfully used the same image on a a rpi3
not sure what you mean by USB OTG

Morning, I've tried two different versions of CIRClean on a pi3, both hang on the Rasbian boot up and ask for a username and password? Has anyone else experienced this, no similar posts online.
Raphaël Vinot
@Rafiot
You cannot use the image for anyting else than the intended purposes or the project: cleaning up usb keys. The userguide is here: https://www.circl.lu/projects/CIRCLean/#usage

Thanks for the reply. When I connect the pi with a hdmi cable I can see the (rapbian) boot up process stop and request a log in. I don't want to log in, but the file transfer process is not working, and I do not hear any music. I have tried 2 SD cards with different images, neither work. Should the image be asking for a log in at boot up?

Morning, I've tried the image again this weekend on two separate Pi 3 and it's still not working
Are there any logs I could send from it failing to run? Thanks

@Rafiot
Hi, sorry for the late answer.
Did you plus both USB keys before booting?

@serverdaeron
Hi, first of all, amazing project! you rocks guy!
I used it and everything fine!
but I want to get some (easy I hope) features..
add (wuth Raspberry pi 3 with 4 usb)
Raphaël Vinot
@Rafiot
Hey, the rpi3 is supported. At least it should be. Did you have a problem with it?
serverdaeron
@serverdaeron
the ability of using another usb (top right) to formatting the usb key with pre-selected format
no no the distro work fine!
Raphaël Vinot
@Rafiot
Oh, that's probably not going to happen on the default image: that sounds very error prone and I fear many users will format usb keys unexpectedly
serverdaeron
@serverdaeron
ok that's right I'm agee with you, but can I chat privately (by email .. or something else..) for get some help from you to do that without debugging all the code?
Raphaël Vinot
@Rafiot
sure, you can mail me at raphael.vinot@circl.lu
