If I usе https://github.com/nrk/predis, I get error message "ERR Protocol error: invalid bulk length"

are sure that php-fpm is running correctly? I just tested the configuration and everything works fine for me :-/

Yes, I'm sure the php5-fpm works well since I could test the server environment with the test php scripts from the doc, and returned a success message. Also with the phpinfo() function.
